Welcome humidity!!!! I love you. So many people complain about you, but you are my favorite part of summer. You’re like wearing a down comforter on my skin and I never get chilled, even after dark! Who cares about a little sweat ; )
I discovered after a chilly morning at my desk that the outside is about 20 degrees warmer than the inside of my house. I have relocated my office to the porch!
Lunchtime called for cleaning out the fridge with a salad made of greens, carrot, olive oil, honey, lavender salt, hummus and goat cheese
With a side of chips
And greek yogurt + strawberries for dessert
Just finished an overhaul of my BERF week by week page –
And I have 1 hour till it’s time to leave for the doctor’s!!!

I feel the same way about the warm weather: I’d rather be a little sweaty than absolutely freezing! Bring it on!
Good luck at the doctor’s!
i am definitely one of those that complains about humidity!! haha. i don’t mind warmth, but i enjoy DRY warmth. i suppose i can blame it on the fact that i’ve lived in mostly dry states my entire life.
Hi Kath,
You look awesome! Is your greek yogurt completely plain (with strawberries of course)? I have tried and tried to eat plain greek yogurt with fruit on, or even sweetened with some honey or agave nectar, but I just can’t get over the bitter taste. Just wondering if it’s just me…..
It is, yes. I guess I just like the taste!? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a little drizzle of honey to help you get in those important nutrients
Those strawberries look delicious!!! And enjoy the doctor appointment, I hope everything goes well!
You are welcome to all the humidity Topeka has to offer. I hate it. BTW, those strawbs look delicious.
YAY for the doctors appt! I hope it goes well.
OMG I hate humidity!!! When I moved to NJ during the summer I thought I will die, I didn’t have enough air!!! Now its better, I love hot dry wheather, Arizona would be perfect for me!!
I love the temps right now, but something tells me Atlanta is going to be hotter than the hubs of hell come this summer. I am currently inside wearing a sweat shirt that will immediately be removed when I have to leave in about an hour…
You don’t care about a little sweat because you don’t sweat! I, however, turn into a puddle! I still say ‘bring on the heat!’ though because my little garden needs to grow!
Hahahaha.
I love the cute little growth chart!
I’m one of those people that loves humidity, too! The hotter, the better. I figure I’m only allowed to complain about one season, so I use it all up during winter and praise the summer up and down. Happy Tuesday!
I love the warmth of a summer’s humid night! I love being wrapped up in all it’s glory! Winter’s chill has still got a hold on me and I need to dethaw!
i love humidity for the exact same reason. and speaking of that, it’s freeeeezing in my office right now!!! wish i could relocate to your porch
I love HEAT & HUMIDITY too, but of course, I grew up in Louisiana. I cannot stand cold weather! If the temperature is below 60, I am sitting on my porch with a throw over my legs! In the summer, we keep our ac at 78 degrees. Anything cooler than that and I have a blanket over my legs!
I like humidity in small doses. Thick, super dense, oppressive, dripping the minute you leave the house, no. But a little “blanket” effect in the air is fine. Not a wool one, just a linen one
I like humidity too.. mostly in the night though. I LOVE summer evenings/nights, it just feels great to be outside
When its super hot outside though… humid/dry, it’s just painful!
Ew. I hate humidity! I want to move out west to the dry heat. One day… P.S. That salad looks amazing!
Oh boy I wish I could embrace your love for humidity! It would make summer a whole lot more enjoyable!
Good luck at the ultrasound!!
I have always lived in humid areas so I am used to it, but still dont love it by any means. I do love your belly progression though, so much fun. I did a belly book. So its kind of like a flip book of me growing!
I hate the humidity! I can deal with the heat but it’s the humidity I cannot stand! It turns my hair into one frizzy mess! The strawberries and yogurt look so refreshing!
Good luck at your ultrasound
One of my sister’s and my favorite summer feelings is “baking” in the car after being in an overly air conditioned building! Glad we are not alone! Have a great afternoon!
I love that too!
Bring on the heat! I love feeling warm. Yogurt has been so good lately.
Hope your dr appt goes well!
Wowzers, that is a lot of goat cheese. Makes my mouth water!!!
Strawberries are so good right now, especially with greek yogurt…it’s my favorite snack/dessert right now
I am not one to welcome humidity. I do not like to be that hot. However, I will not complain about the humidity when it comes every year, because where we live it is only sunny and hot for a few months, and then back to dreariness and the cold for the majority of the year.

That salad looks tasty!
Humidity is so nasty. Give me dry heat any day.
Too funny…just checked out your post while I happened to be washing strawberries to mix with Greek yogurt for my son’s snack!
I LOVE humidity as well!!! I basically screamed this morning when I walked out the front door I was soooo excited!!!
Your lunch looks outstanding as always. I love hummus and goat cheese on top of my salads too. London was a tiny bit humid today as well, but nothing like I’m used to back in Canada. Summer is coming, ya!
Yuck. Humidity is hell.
I will be sending any signs of humidity that ever hits over to you. Of course, it hardly is ever hot/humid here in SF.
Must be a “strawberry-Greek yogurt-kind of evening”. Mike and I enjoyed a bowl of the same on our screened in porch this evening with a glass of chardonnay! Happy Spring!
The thing I don’t like about humidity is what it does to my hair…warning: FRIZZ zone! haha!
Lunch looks great! Don’t agree with you on the humidity, though. That’s one of the reasons we’re moving to New Mexico!
If you ever needed to change the name of your blog, it looks like you could call it Kath Likes Striped Shirts!
I just adore that little orange spoon in your greek yogurt dish. It seems like everyone BUT me has one. Please share where you got it. Thanks so much!
