There Were Four In The Bed

August 17, 2012

I just spent a blissful 20 minutes opening a package that Matt’s dad and Cheryl sent!!!

The box was filled with cute clothes!!!!! We are totally ready now : )

Turtles!! This will be perfect for my sister’s wedding next summer

Baby workout gear!

And a Frenchie outfit (they love doggies : ) ) So cute!

Matt has a dad present waiting as well : )

I went for a power walk before lunch and then turned my leftover salmon salad into a melt on some Cville Crunch bread with sharp cheddar cheese!

Double DHA boost this week –

You know what song these watermelon slices were singing… roll over! roll over! So they all rolled over and one fell out……crunch!

Red Zinger hydration!

And last but not least, I finally caught one of baby’s violent roll and kick sessions on video! I could just sense he was about to do one and turned my phone on just in time. These are so hard to capture!

Later friends!

I saw something cuuuute w/ a bee on it, Grandma Buzz, I should have gotten it to include with the other clothes. Will have to go back for it if I remember where I saw it :)

21 Allison k August 17, 2012 at 2:26 pm

What size is that turtle romper? It’s adorable. I really want to buy my little guy next years summer clothes since they are all on sale…but I have no clue how big he will be! He’s solidly in 6mos stuff and he’ll be in 9mos soon due to his cloth bum…and giant size!

22 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 3:16 pm

6 months by Carter’s!

Sometimes I wish I were an infant or toddler — their clothes are so much better than grownups’. The melt looks so tasty. I have been eating a TON of watermelon!

25 Emma August 17, 2012 at 2:45 pm

That sea turtle outfit is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

40 Kel August 17, 2012 at 6:49 pm

This is not an unsupportive comment I am about to make! I said this all the time when I was pregnant.

There is an ALIEN in there!!

So. Freaking . Cool.

Not sure why the image of Matt getting a Dad pic put a lump in my throat…not only is there a baby in there, but you are going to be a Mom and a Dad!

41 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 7:00 pm

: )

42 Macrae August 17, 2012 at 7:09 pm

That is the best baby book ever! Will always be my favorite and you can recite it over ad over and never get tired of it. Brings back wonderful memories :) You’re going to be a great mom !

46 Anna @ On Anna's Plate August 17, 2012 at 7:52 pm

Hahaha…that’s too funny– I just bought that turtle outfit…for LILA! I know it’s for boys, but I thought it was SO cute! Turtles are unisex, right? I’ll just slap a big bow on her head when she wears it. :-)

47 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 7:53 pm

48 Melissa August 17, 2012 at 7:57 pm

49 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 8:03 pm

Are you reading from an iPhone? If so, I have had people in the past have problems until they cleared the cache.

50 Sue August 17, 2012 at 7:58 pm

WOW! Love that little video….I’ve never been pregnant and have never seen that…so COOL!

51 Janelle August 18, 2012 at 5:36 am

52 Elisabeth August 17, 2012 at 8:03 pm

I love little boy clothes – so adorable! :)

53 Donna August 17, 2012 at 8:06 pm

Matt’s dad? You’ve never mentioned him, so I assumed Karen was a widow.

54 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 8:20 pm

They live in South Carolina so we don’t get to see them as often as we used to with the distance – and they are busy medical professionals! They visited us this past fall – and here was their wedding!:

55 Emily August 17, 2012 at 8:12 pm

Hey Kath, I have recently started my blog after stumbling upon yours, and I am at the Healthy Living Summit this weekend with my mom… We’re so bummed you couldn’t make it, but best of wishes from us with your baby!!

56 KathEats August 17, 2012 at 8:13 pm

I wish I were there too!

57 Andrea August 17, 2012 at 8:26 pm

Holy baby clothes!! They are all so adorable, especially the turtle! Does Matt’s dad live out of state?

58 Janelle August 18, 2012 at 5:34 am

Omg ! Is that what it’s like when a baby kicks !? I’m so amazed I have never been around anyone who has had a baby , strange I know but I had no idea they kick that hard ! I’m sure it’s not pleasant but that’s so neat!

59 Julia H. @ Going Gulia August 18, 2012 at 9:03 am

TURTLE OUTFIT. So cute. I love turtles, so I might have to buy that for any future babies that come into my life haha.

60 Christina @ The Beautiful Balance August 19, 2012 at 3:57 am
