FUN FUN FUN day!!!!
This morning Matt and I super-cleaned the house. Including some of my grandmother’s oil lamps! They are sparkling from the inside out now 
Then we walked (3 miles!) to the grand opening of CORE Chiropractic, Tate and Faith’s new business.
On the bottom of the building Dr. Huffman has his state-of-the-art clinic.
On top, Faith has a space for personal training (she is certified in all kinds of things and will be doing group exercise classes!) and a few rented out studios for other types of healthcare. I had actually planned to do a talk on nutrition, but they had a smaller turnout than planned so we postponed the talk for another occasion.
Faith made a few bites for the occasion – including the most AMAZING MUFFINS!!!!!!!!
Stuffed with…hold your breath…peanut butter filling!
Go bother Faith for the recipe. It’s really, really epic.
She also had Chai Spice, which were great too – we snagged a few for home!
Plus Kefir Soda
As well as the most amazing White Bean Dip. I’ve got to get the recipe for this STAT!
Matt and I ate lots of muffins, crackers, dip and cheese at the clinic, but our afternoon plans included lunch and drinks at Beer Run to help the new business owners celebrate.
Clearly beers would be involved.
After little debate, I ordered the Schneider Aventinus Weizenbock
Loved! Banana Spice, full body.
Since we’d filled up on nibbles, we just got light bites for lunch.
Greens for me
And an Apple + Brie Sandwich for him
Faith and Tate split some delicious white wine
Inside our patio seating it was a sauna! In a wonderful warm spring day way. In the summer it would have been too hot, but in the spring, we loved it.
Matt and I walked a windy, long 3 miles back home, which took us about an hour.

What an exciting event!! Congratuations to Tate and Faith. You must be excited for your own business opening. Looks like a sunshine-y celebration afterwards. What a lovely way to spend the day.

Beer Run was awesome when we visited! Only wish we had gotten to eat there. It was such a fun place and we got some awesome beer!

I have a question for you. How does one go about finding an RD? I need to go to one for stomach issues, not weight loss. Thought maybe you could give a suggestion.
