I hate staying out late – it throws my whole body off!! I woke up at 6:30 this morning exhausted yet wide awake. Luckily I was able to fall back asleep, but that made for a rather rushed morning!! Gotta be on the road by 9am and I always underestimate the amount of time it takes me to eat breakfast and blog about it ; )
My 30 second no-cook breakfast bowl:
- 1 mini box Oatmeal Squares
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup cooked wheatberries
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Sunflower butter
- PILE ‘O PUMPKIN
Sippin’ on vanilla tea
Have a reunionific and/or autumnific day!

I must be the only blogger who has not yet tried oatmeal squares….need to ASAP!
Gotta Love no cook breakfasts!
I love combos like this, except instead of milk I normally use yogurt or cottage cheese.
I’ve never tried or have even seen wheatberries, but they look like such an Awesome way to add nutrients and texture: )
Hope you have a wonderful day! Breakfast looks great, easy and fast!! I love oatmeal squares.
Every morning I wake up at 5:50am to workout except the weekends…those days I wake up at that time and then force myself to go back to sleep. funny how the little internal alarm clock goes off! Have a safe trip and lots of fun!
I woke up at 6:30, but unfortunately, was unable to go back to sleep thanks to a screech owl and neighborhood dogs. BUT I’m determined to have nice day regardless. I love your breakfast, and when we get low on our other grains in the house, I will be buying wheatberries again. It’s been too long since I last had them! I hope you and Matt have a wonderful time at your reunion!!!!
I hope you have a good day! I was up at 7:45, when I didn’t need to be up until 8:30. I had a short run on the agenda and loved every step!
I seemed to have slept through the 5:45am alarm (yet hit snooze still?) and woke up at 6:15 and now I’m kind of rushing as well…but still making time for blog reading while finishing breakfast of course!
Oatmeal squares are my favorites! I’ve heard of chia seeds and wheatberries, but don’t believe I’ve tried either… will need to check them out. I love pumpkin and smiled at your description “Pile o’ Pumpkin.” Have fun at the reunion! I think mine is next month
Hope you have a GREAT time!!!
That is an amazing looking no-cook breakfast.
My quick breakfasts never look that good. ha! I need to try some of those oatmeal squares.
Have a great weekend!
cute bowl!
I’m the same way – I always wake up early no matter how late I stayed up! Unfornately I rarely can fall back asleep…
Looks so healthy! Wanted to thank you for sharing your mom’s blog. I am somewhere between you and your mom in age-closer to your mom’s I’m sure. It’s fun reading both of your blogs. I’m not where she is yet, maybe 10 years behind? But I know what’s coming and it’s fun to read someone’s perspective on it all.
So glad you like it!
I underestimate the time it takes to get ready (shower, hair, maekup, dress) every single time. For some reason I think I can pull that off in 30 minutes when it’s definitely more like 45! Have a great reunion weekend!
I love oat squares! They are my favorite cereal. I don’t buy them often because they are never on sale. Have fun at your reunion!
Have fun at the reunion! It’s a gorgeous weekend up here in MA; hope it’s the same down in VA!
Actually, it has not felt like autumn yet for the past few days–even though it is officially autumn–because it has been 80 degrees
Can we say YIPPEE/happy, endorphin weather?

I’m so not a stay out late kind of person either. Hope it doesn’t throw your entire day off!
I hate when you wake up too early, and you’re SO tired but just can’t sleep. Gorgeous pics, as usual.
Have a wonderful day! Hope the reunion was fun!
I hate staying up or out late too, it throws my body out of whack as well!

I hate late nights too! I much prefer my grandma bedtime of 10 pm.
Those wheatberries look so interesting! Do you know where you can find them??
Yum! Vanilla tea sounds soo great
not a bad breakfast for 30 seconds of prep time!
me too! We were out until 1am last night and I was wide awake at 5am, yet still tired. Did not get up until 8:30
Made the pumpkin smoothie and it was so delicious!
I am in love with your bowl! It’s so cute and I just love the color!
