Pumpkin Pile

IMG_8449Blog

I hate staying out late – it throws my whole body off!! I woke up at 6:30 this morning exhausted yet wide awake. Luckily I was able to fall back asleep, but that made for a rather rushed morning!! Gotta be on the road by 9am and I always underestimate the amount of time it takes me to eat breakfast and blog about it ; )

IMG_8446Blog

My 30 second no-cook breakfast bowl:

  • 1 mini box Oatmeal Squares
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup cooked wheatberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Sunflower butter
  • PILE ‘O PUMPKIN

Gotta Love no cook breakfasts! 🙂 I love combos like this, except instead of milk I normally use yogurt or cottage cheese.

I’ve never tried or have even seen wheatberries, but they look like such an Awesome way to add nutrients and texture: )

Every morning I wake up at 5:50am to workout except the weekends…those days I wake up at that time and then force myself to go back to sleep. funny how the little internal alarm clock goes off! Have a safe trip and lots of fun!

I woke up at 6:30, but unfortunately, was unable to go back to sleep thanks to a screech owl and neighborhood dogs. BUT I’m determined to have nice day regardless. I love your breakfast, and when we get low on our other grains in the house, I will be buying wheatberries again. It’s been too long since I last had them! I hope you and Matt have a wonderful time at your reunion!!!!

I hope you have a good day! I was up at 7:45, when I didn’t need to be up until 8:30. I had a short run on the agenda and loved every step!

I seemed to have slept through the 5:45am alarm (yet hit snooze still?) and woke up at 6:15 and now I’m kind of rushing as well…but still making time for blog reading while finishing breakfast of course! 😉

Oatmeal squares are my favorites! I’ve heard of chia seeds and wheatberries, but don’t believe I’ve tried either… will need to check them out. I love pumpkin and smiled at your description “Pile o’ Pumpkin.” Have fun at the reunion! I think mine is next month 🙂

Looks so healthy! Wanted to thank you for sharing your mom’s blog. I am somewhere between you and your mom in age-closer to your mom’s I’m sure. It’s fun reading both of your blogs. I’m not where she is yet, maybe 10 years behind? But I know what’s coming and it’s fun to read someone’s perspective on it all.

I underestimate the time it takes to get ready (shower, hair, maekup, dress) every single time. For some reason I think I can pull that off in 30 minutes when it’s definitely more like 45! Have a great reunion weekend!

Actually, it has not felt like autumn yet for the past few days–even though it is officially autumn–because it has been 80 degrees 🙂 Can we say YIPPEE/happy, endorphin weather? 🙂
