A rainy day had me craving oatmeal…..
Leftover muffin meant another day of a fun topping…..
TJ’s PB jumped out of the jar and into my bowl…..
Salty peanuts plunged in…
And I had the same breakfast as yesterday! It was good enough to repeat.
The only difference was that today I used my Rockin’ Oatmeal MojaMix with dates + figs + peanuts + coconut mixed in -
This bowl was a texture masterpiece – creamy, fluffy, crunchy, chewy. The mix was a little over 1/3 cup Mojamix, half banana, 1/3 cup 2% milk, 1/2 tbsp chia, salty peanuts, crumbled Morning Glory muffin, TJ’s PB.

Matt is off on Mondays and is still asleep! Going on 11 hours now….!!! His oatmeal share is now cold and waiting for him on the stove top.
We had plans to go buy new running shoes this morning before I have to commute to class, but since it’s raining outside and he’s still sleeping, I think we’ll save that for another day. Good opportunity for me to get some work done instead!
Hope you all have a wonderful start to the week

Perfect rainy day breakfast. That combo sounds awesome. Party in your mouth!
Haha my mom slept from 1pm – 9pm yesterday, talk about messed up sleep schedules! I wouldn’t be able to function!
Oatmeal looks delish, I love the variety.

Have wonderful day, don’t forget the umbrella!
Mmm love all the textures going on in your oats this morning!
11 hours of sleep? Soo jealous.
That bowl looks fabulous. Texture masterpieces are JUST what I look for when eating
And YAY for the gmail Lobster! My boyfriend has coined that as his “signature” when he emails from gmail. Haha. He’ll be so pleased to see you used it.
Looks like an amazing bowl!!!
My fiance LOVES his sleep, and would sleep 12 hours a night if allowed!
If you know what brand/ size of running shoes work for you, you should check ebay. If you’re patient you can get some great deals. I’ve saved a fortune that way!
this is the perfect weather for oatmeal!!!!!!! if i had time before work today i would have had some too, but instead i live vicariously through yours hahaha
The oatmeal sounds SO good! Love the bowl too
I love oatmeal on raingy days, such a great FALL feeling! What kind of shoes do you usually get? I like to compare what other people get, I’m always up for trying different brands!
That oatmeal looks delish! I’m a huge fan of tons of textures in my oats.
That sound and looks like THEE perfect bowl…I just made SIAB for the first time!!
But more like SIAC b/c I put it in a cup. I’ve been making almond milk recently so that went in along with the dried almond pulp that is leftover after making the milk + oats + raspberries + few walnuts + yogurt = YUM!
I love reading all about your oatmeal concoctions. I always eat my oatmeal like a plain jane. I think it’s time for a switch!
How sweet of you to let Matt sleep. Running shoes can wait just a little longer.
And when you find a good oatmeal combo why mess it up
oatmeal is always the perfect breakfast for rainy days!
What a perfect breakfast for a rainy day. I totally agree that sometimes breakfasts are just too good to not repeat the next day.
Haha, that’s too cute about Matt. I guess even men need their beauty sleep!
Glad Matt is catching up on the Zzzz’s!! I hope class goes alright today
11 hours of sleep is the way to go!

there’s nothing like a good bowl of oatmeal, especially on a gloomy morning!
I need to try a muffin in hot oatmeal – looks delicious!
I definitely need to find a good gluten-free morning glory muffin recipe now. That looks so good!
Rainy days are always great days for oatmeal! It looks so yummy too!
Yes, I have to say your pictures are great!
I simply cannot read your blog until I’ve eaten something. Otherwise I risk eating my keyboard, or worse, the screen
Yum, breakfast looks delicious! Can you believe I still have yet to try Moja Mix! It’s totally on my list of things to try!
I don’t know if you keep up with the BSI (Blogger Secret Ingredient) contest every week, but this weeks ingredient is Oats and I instantly thought of you!

Leianna,
I like Asiacs and Adidas because they are wider but I don’t have a specific shoe I love yet.

Hey everyone! Because I know that a lot of you have your own blogs, I have a question for you. Can anyone give me some recommendations on a good site to use to start a blog? I’m familiar with blogspot but I’m just curious if there are any other sites out there that host (free) blogs.
Also, a question for Kath–I believe the cruise you went on earlier this summer was a Norwegian. Do you have any recommendations or reviews? I’ve been thinking about a cruise and was thinking Norwegian but I’ve been seeing negative online reviews so I’m just curious.
Thanks!
Oh, I’m going today to buy a new pair of running shoes. It is definitely time. My shins are starting to hurt!
It’s always such an angst-filled decision for me! What if I don’t like my new shoes? I won’t know until I run on them. Then I can’t take them back! How much to spend? What kind to buy??? Haha.
Last time, I got brooks (never bought those before). I really liked them.
Delish.
great lookin breakfast!
11 hours sounds dreamy…hope Matt feels great (and not groggy!)
great travel tips! i’m going travelling soon…one of my tips is to take green pills/green supplements (like greens + or green vibrance) for when i can’t always get fresh leafy greens in during a meal…
Stacy ,
Check out this blog starter guide I found a while back:

I wouldn’t really recommend the exact cruise I went on due to my ship being really old and outdated. I’d be sure you pick a cruise with a big ship that is newer with lots of activities. Bermuda was awesome, though, and I would recommend that cruise destination. Just not the boat.
