Double Take

A rainy day had me craving oatmeal…..

Leftover muffin meant another day of a fun topping…..

TJ’s PB jumped out of the jar and into my bowl…..

Salty peanuts plunged in…

And I had the same breakfast as yesterday! It was good enough to repeat.

The only difference was that today I used my Rockin’ Oatmeal MojaMix with dates + figs + peanuts + coconut mixed in –

IMG_1602 (640x480)

This bowl was a texture masterpiece – creamy, fluffy, crunchy, chewy. The mix was a little over 1/3 cup Mojamix, half banana, 1/3 cup 2% milk, 1/2 tbsp chia, salty peanuts, crumbled Morning Glory muffin, TJ’s PB.

Coffee bubs

Matt is off on Mondays and is still asleep! Going on 11 hours now….!!! His oatmeal share is now cold and waiting for him on the stove top.

We had plans to go buy new running shoes this morning before I have to commute to class, but since it’s raining outside and he’s still sleeping, I think we’ll save that for another day. Good opportunity for me to get some work done instead!

Hope you all have a wonderful start to the week

If you know what brand/ size of running shoes work for you, you should check ebay. If you’re patient you can get some great deals. I’ve saved a fortune that way!

That sound and looks like THEE perfect bowl…I just made SIAB for the first time!! 😉 But more like SIAC b/c I put it in a cup. I’ve been making almond milk recently so that went in along with the dried almond pulp that is leftover after making the milk + oats + raspberries + few walnuts + yogurt = YUM!

Hey everyone! Because I know that a lot of you have your own blogs, I have a question for you. Can anyone give me some recommendations on a good site to use to start a blog? I’m familiar with blogspot but I’m just curious if there are any other sites out there that host (free) blogs.

Also, a question for Kath–I believe the cruise you went on earlier this summer was a Norwegian. Do you have any recommendations or reviews? I’ve been thinking about a cruise and was thinking Norwegian but I’ve been seeing negative online reviews so I’m just curious.

    Thanks!

Oh, I’m going today to buy a new pair of running shoes. It is definitely time. My shins are starting to hurt!

It’s always such an angst-filled decision for me! What if I don’t like my new shoes? I won’t know until I run on them. Then I can’t take them back! How much to spend? What kind to buy??? Haha.

Last time, I got brooks (never bought those before). I really liked them.

    Stacy ,
Check out this blog starter guide I found a while back:

    http://www.problogdesign.com/home/katheats/public_html/the-ultimate-guide-to-setting-up-wordpress-after-an-install/

I wouldn’t really recommend the exact cruise I went on due to my ship being really old and outdated. I’d be sure you pick a cruise with a big ship that is newer with lots of activities. Bermuda was awesome, though, and I would recommend that cruise destination. Just not the boat.
