We had beautiful blue skies all morning but the clouds have now covered over
But the biking session was a success. We rode all around the island for about an hour and a half.
Apparently my SPF 55 wasn’t rubbed in when I came outside
We came back around 12:30 for lunch. I wasn’t terribly hungry yet, but it seemed like a good time to eat. We brought a cooler of ingredients for sandwiches each day and have been able to store them in the inn’s fridge (and use the kitchen). It’s been very convenient.
I made a Spinach Salad with POM seeds (brought from home), carrot, a tomato slice and honey mustard.
And open-faced grilled cheese with provolone
A few chips and a carrot with PB
And half a grapefruit, which I shared with Larbs.
Matt A. and I are going to to running later this afternoon when we digest. I am heading out now for some reading + walking until I get to the beach with Larbs and Matt are. The husband is off biking with Karen + Andrew. We’re all planning to renzdevous at the market for a wine tasting around 4:30
