Here is a tour of our farmhouse-style screened porch with a vaulted ceiling, beadboard, galvanized accents, and barn doors.
When we moved into our house, our dream was to build a lovely farmhouse-style screened porch on the back. Something we could use 3 seasons of the year. Something that would make for an excellent photography studio. And a space to throw killer parties!
Before, we had a little covered stoop with steps leading down to an existing wooden deck pathway that met a floating deck in the yard. Our goal was to connect them into one massive deck playground.
[Which took about 2 months]
After: Our Farmhouse-Style Screened Porch
Our contractor picked out all of the fixtures, so unfortunately I don’t know the name or brand of each. But hopefully if you’re interested in a similar project you can show the photos to your contractor for inspiration.
