Superfish

You might think that I would come home from two conferences with bags of bars, cereal, or chocolates.

Nope, I came home with tons of laundry detergent!! Both BlogHer and HLS had it in their swag bags (and I took some off the hands of carry on bag friends!)

IMG_0310 (640x427) (2)

As you can imagine, I put them to good use this morning 🙂

I also have lots of new Biscoff cookies and had no idea where to put them. Finally I found a new kind of cookie jar – a lantern. Think it looks kinda neat?

IMG_0308 (640x427) (2)

IMG_0309 (640x427) (2)

Matt and I went out to run some errands. He is so responsible these days! He was in charge of the grocery list, while I went to the bank and post office.

We only needed a few things since we’re leaving tomorrow, but you can bet your bottom dollar that SUPERFISH made it into the cart!! I love them more and more!

IMG_0314 (640x427) (2)

Matt made sardine salad, I assembled the grapes 😉

IMG_0315 (640x427) (2)

He just left for a haircut so I’m not sure of the exact recipe, but I believe this was a combo of:

  • Smoked sardines (the BEST!)
  • Water-packed sardines
  • Zucchini
  • Squash
  • Tomato
  • Green pepper
  • Mayo (he usually adds a tbsp for the whole recipe)
  • Mustard (probably 2 tsp)
  • Salt + Pepper
  • Hot sauce

IMG_0323 (640x427) (2)

Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato flavors for scooping – my fav!

IMG_0324 (640x427) (2)

IMG_0325 (640x427) (2)

To drink: Solixir from the HLS swag bag. Consider it what soda should be – just a touch of sweetness from 30% real fruit juice, natural, fizzy. I loved the flavor!

IMG_0322 (640x427) (2)

IMG_0313 (640x427) (2)

Taking a break today to rest my body and mind. And make pesto!
