She Likes It.

IMG_2346Blog

I like to eat food in bowls with a fork.

I like salads.

I like varying flavors [sweet + savory] and textures [soft + crunchy}

IMG_2351Blog

I also like chocolate and buttercream, but sadly this lunch did not contain them.

It did contain green leaf lettuce, aged balsamic, a carrot, half a bell pepper, an egg muffin, leftover roasted sweet potato and Cville Crunch bread.

IMG_2341Blog

Stellar. I liked it!

The grand porch looks so pretty under the blue skies today.

IMG_2336Blog

All of the main parts [new door, fixtures, carpentry] are done – we are waiting on the painting + staining to wrap up. Can’t wait to move in next spring!

Porch-2Blog

Working on a number of Great Harvest things. I have turned into the official graphic designer and professional photographer for the bakery. On the photo side, some other bakeries have requested to use my product photos – which is cool! But on the graphic design sign…eek!

    I absolutely LOVE your porch–esp. the skylights, ceiling, beadboard, sliding door(s), and wide steps, perfect to hang out on. It’s almost like having a little cottage on the back of your house. You could even sleep out there some warm summer night!

    Was it hard for you to start work on your porch? We have an older house as well and have been told by a few people that additions to older houses can sometimes be difficult- bringing certain things up to code maybe? Anyway, we want to add a front porch and I don’t even know where to start!

    I love graphic design, it’s one of those activities that makes the time fly by and all of a sudden I realize I’ve been working for six hours.

    But whatever you do, please, please, please stay away from Comic Sans. It may be the worst font in the history of all fonts. Well, Papyrus is pretty bad too. Stick with a nice sans serif, something like Arial.

    Hi! I’m building a screen porch and want a sliding screen door…found yours on Pinterest! Having trouble getting my contractor to do this elegantly. If you dont mind me asking, how are they hung? With sliding screen door tracks at top and bottom? At bottom woudl be a tripping hazzard unless countersunk, but I’m also worried about how it will look. THANKS
