Saucy Salad

It’s been a busy morning at home and I can’t wait to get over to the bakery! I’m headed there as soon as I type up this post.

Matt and I spent the morning G-chatting about pricing and I made a bunch of labels for our bread racks. It’s coming along!

I got hungry at noon and ate lunch at 12:30 – sauced!

And glazed salad!

It made a perfect salad dressing along with a hint of olive oil and salt

And now that my hunger has been satisfied, I depart on 2 wheels!

At first I thought it was maple syrup on your bread/cheese slice. Seems like a good idea 🙂

    That sauce looks great!

I love toppings like that, when they go well on all kinds of foods. We’ve been eating our way through a container of tzaziki sauce [yogurt with cucumber and dill], and I love it as a salad dressing, a dip for crackers or chips or veggies, and a spread on bread.

Jessa and Heather, I thought it was a fun Mother’s Day post–you should go back and check it out. Also, Kath previously posted a few times she would immediately post when ‘there is a bun in the oven’ so we don’t have to keep asking. It’s such a beautifully done blog that maybe if you try to read all of the posts, you will get a whole lot more out of it and you won’t miss out on all of the little subtle things. Also, when the children of the human type come along I’m sure Matt will have something more than a jar of mustard glaze 🙂 (which was very nice and thoughtful and looks yummy).
