Full House, Full Stomach!

The husband and I working out together (forever!) at 11 after my class today, so we got to enjoy a relaxing morning (and the hilarious Office last night!) After breakfast we watched the newest Conan O’Brien (which we watch at least 3 times a week and love) and Uncle Jesse (John Stamos, yes, but he IS Uncle Jesse) was on!! I was a HUUGEEE Full House fan when I was little (er…still am?) and had (have?) a huge crush on Uncle Jesse. His wedding to Becky was always my dream wedding when he sang this song to her….

And I have it on my iPod too!

So back tracking to breakfast – I made a huge bowl of pumpkin oats.

DSC05910

  • 1/3 cup oats, soy milk, water
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • Half small banana
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin (stirred in at end)
  • 1/8 cup cottage cheese (stirred in at end)
  • Half a serving of Nuts over Raspberries trail mix (from Trader Joe’s)
  • Spoonful Butter Toffee PB

DSC05909

Plus coffee!

DSC05904

And a vitamin

Off to class in the cold rain 👿

That should read “The husband and I ARE working out together” but I can’t edit it or I’ll have to re-embed the video!

Full House! That was my FAVORITE show growing up. I was actually very very sad when the series ended. And I used to know that Uncle Jesse song by heart. 😛

Never? Not once? Just skip the oatmeal and have a bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese bagel sandwich?

    I am impressed.

YES! And then they have the twins and Uncle J becomes a rockstar and they film the “Forever” music video with the twins? Too cute. And I need to leave the ’90s soon, considering I just spent my morning at the gym watching Saved by the Bell. Other than The Office, what happened to good TV?!?

This is so so funny. Two days I ago I blogged about about Uncle Jesse’s and Becky’s wedding! I even included the “Forever” lyrics on my site. Though I thought it might be silly to blog about, I couldn’t not because I’ve always been in love with Uncle Jesse. Great minds think alike 🙂

I also had “pumpkin oatmeal” (my newest love!) for breakfast this morning…yummy! And, you oatmeal blogging gals have ruined me with adding in extras…now I just HAVE to crumble part of a granola bar on top. Sure makes it taste delish though, so thanks for the idea! Just wondering….do you sweeten yours with anything~~~artificial sweeteners, real sugar, etc. I use liquid Stevia…but would love brown sugar instead and lots of it! ha! oh well, must be a good girl and try to eat healthy. Enjoy your food posts and seeing what you’re eating and enjoyed the video and song!

OMG Full House… used to be so obsessed. I was actually in San Francisco with the BF a little while ago and made him stop by the actual Full House house so that we could get a picture of us on the front steps. And we visited Alamo park where they have the picnic in the opening sequence… we are dorks and my friend who lives there was kind enough to be our tour guide for all things Full House. 🙂
