A little sunshine poked into the day. And a little salad made an appearance too!
Spinach leaves with hummus and pickles counts as salad, right!?
Reheat n Eat
Grapes wedged in between
And more of the same teabag from breakfast (think thrifty)
Despite the fact that I had just had pizza for lunch, there is nothing quite like the corner of downtown that houses Christian’s Pizza. Such wonderful boardwalk pizza smells waft about.
The walk downtown was to greet Allie, who is visiting with her friend Szeman
Matt and I met them at Rev Soup and chatted followed by ice cream cones for a snack at Chaps, my new favorite ice cream parlor! I had the oreo flavor in a sugar cone
And this was taken before the ice cream, but I am bustin’ out of my low-rise maternity jeans. Full panel hear I come! I swear my belly grows half an inch out each night!
Allie wanted to see Cottage KERF, so we chilled here for a while and then took her to her old stompin’ grounds.
Whilst there I tasted the new Maple Pecan scuffin – which was like a southern biscuit with a mildly sweet maple glaze. Delish!
We’re back at home now (and I’m hungry again – after a few days of NON hunger, I’m back to being insatiable!) Thinking about dinner!

“Whilst,” eh? I feel like I’m in London!
That pizza still looks as good as ever! And I just cannot keep grapes in my house, I always end up eating the whole carton in one day! I Love them TOO much!
I love grapes, spinach, and pizza and ice cream. So this whole post made me happy and hungry. Thanks
mmmmm…oreo ice cream! Looks like a fun afternoon!
That totally counts as a salad! Love your top – your baby bump looks super cute
You’re sporting a cute baby belly there
I love humus as a salad dressing…so creamy and full of flavor!
What a fun afternoon!! I’m definitely feeling like an empty pit and I’m NOT pregnant…
Funny we just got back from a fo-yo snack and a walk. Of course I had cookies & cream fro-yo with oreo crumbles
I have not had ice cream from a cone in forever! Prolly because I can’t eat it without getting it all over myself!
A perfect plateful! What a nice day.
Kath, you are looking great! I’ve been living in Cville since August, but have yet to Christian’s pizza! And I haven’t tried Bodo’s bagels yet, either. I need to get on both of those things stat! I have tried Chaps ice cream, though and loved it!
Christian’s isn’t anything super amazing, but it’s really good boardwalk pizza! Bodos is the best!
I’ve been a long time reader. Just wanted to say congrats! Very cute baby bump starting.
Thanks!
Hummus on spinach…yummy! Why didn’t I think of that? What a cute top and baby bump! Pregnancy enthusiasm is so contagious…I dreamt I was pregnant last night!
Oreo icecream is one of my favorite!
You will notice your belly growing faster every second in couple of months!
you are totally glowing…and, growing
belly looks cute!
YAY for Allie’s visit! I bet it was fun to catch up and for her to see the baby bump! You’re looking great, Kath!
YAY BABIES! We are so close in time that it is absolutely AWESOME to follow you and BERF!
….I just shared my news on my blog! I’m 18.5 weeks along with a blessing!!
Just saw your post – cute!! Excited we’re nearly the same due date!
Thanks, Kath! It is such a journey! …..Can’t wait till our little ones are here to love on!
Yummm looks like an awesome afternoon.
Super cute top–looks really good on you!
I was gonna say, I see a wee lil baby bump in that top! So cute!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who says whilst!
You look great pregnant! And congrats on the sex of the baby (I have yet to comment on BERF)! All your foods look so enticing (especially that pizza) since I’ve been drinking soup for the past two days (sore throat). I just want some real food; I could totally go for pizza now.
I like your salad! LOL It actually looks like a great combo of sweet and salty. Yum!
Gosh! I just ate and now I’m hungry again. BabyKERF is going to be one happy baby with pizza and ice cream. YUM!
Speaking of growing BabyKERF, you can still see your feet – you’re too skinny yet.
Mmm, that pizza looks good!
Thanks y’all!
Is Oreo ice cream any different to cookies ‘n’ cream? Either way I bet it’s delish!
Pizza is really the only thing that sounds good to me now that I’m seeing these photos!
Thank you so so so much for the bread and sweets. I came home and yelped for Peter to come help me carry it up to the kitchen. By the time I got up there (0.02 seconds later), he had a maple pecan scuffin IN his mouth as he was grabbing a plate from the cabinet. He approves
. I glutened it up myself with the pecan swirl bread (!!!!!!!!!) and those gooey cookies.
So good to see you again. Hopefully I’ll be back down again with more time to play.
You’re very welcome! Glad Peter’s stomach is happy
Can’t wait for the grape prices to go down in Korea, its been insane lately!! Yours look SO good! And so does that grapesized belly! too cute!
It’s nice to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!
Gotta love reheats ‘n eats
I think my belly is growing even more than a half an inch out each night
