It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Maybe I will get a present from Santa today ; )
I was up earlier than normal this morning and hungrier than normal too! Big bowl of oats did the trick.
Coach’s Oats whipped with banana, milk and water. Vanilla + cottage cheese stirred in at the end! Cville Cluster crumbs and sunflower butter on top.
And some tea to help me wake up
I hate that I’m writing so late – you guys are putting the pressure on when you say you’re checking every 10 minutes when my post is delayed! I kept getting distracted and thinking “I HAVE TO BLOG NOW!” FYI, lunch post might be delayed due to film crew… I’ll let you know on Twitter if my water breaks or I have my first contraction while on camera
Have a great Tuesday!

Wouldn’t it be fun to have your birth caught on [professional] camera?
Haha yes.
I need to make sure I’m following you on Twitter!
Keeping my fingers crossed
Good luck today! Christmas in… August? The bright green makes it less Christmas-y.
I had oiaj this morning for the first time. PB jar…so good! Hoping baby comes soon:)
I’m already in a Christmas mood, don’t encourage me!
Hoping you get an early present today!
Good luck today!
LOL! You are cracking me up. I’ll cross my fingers there will be a baby today. Hopefully not on camera though.
I’ll be thinking about you! And checking Twitter:)
You need a hashtag!! #babyKERF or something like this!
: )
And I was thinking that I was the only one who keeps checking the posts!
I’ve been checking too. BabyKERF bump watch is officially on — no pressure though, we are all just so excited for you and Matt.
I am sure you do feel pressured now, but just remember that although you choose to share your life with all of us, this is your time! We will all be happy to see pictures of the little one and read all about your experience, but if a delay in news gives you time to live in the moment, then I say go for it! That being said, I am checking the blog and twitter feeds as much as the rest of you
: ) Thanks for the reminder
I agree, Kath…please take some much deserved private time with your family…we’ll all be happy that you are giving yourself a little break from us and enjoying every moment bonding with your newborn son.
Well said!
I’ve heard of Christmas in July, but I like Christmas in August too!
you’re sooo close!!!
i’ve noticed that you said you got hungrier these days… do you think it’s because of the belly has dropped down? I can’t wait to start feeling hungry again… or less full.
Maybe? Although I think it’s because I didn’t snack after dinner and I just have more needs. But yes, my stomach space definitely increased when he dropped
Hope the filming goes well!
Earlier and hungrier AM for me as well! When do we find out what this film crew is all about?!
Late September.
I’ve officially joined the bump watch. Yay for #babyKERF.
Best of luck with the filming! How exciting…can’t wait to find out what THAT is all about.
I love that the entire “following” community is checking regularly for a baby post. hee hee. We are all so excited for you!!!
I have to make sure I’m following you on twitter haha
I finally tried your whipped banana oatmeal today. I added peanut butter and mini chocolate chips to the mix – delicious!
Yay!
FILM CREW?! That’s exciting. Perhaps I’m missing something, which is likely since we’ve spent most of the past few days bracing for Isaac. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!
It’s for a new job I’m taking on : )
babble?
Nope.
Kath you were in my dream last night! I visited your store in Charlottesville, and you were wearing bright red lipstick. Funny what the mind does when it is sleeping…Anyway hope baby KERF comes soon!
Hahah nice!
Happy film day!!
I hope you have the baby today!
Since I’m moving (TOMORROW!), I have no food in the house and your oatmeal looks SO much better than the batch of instant I just scrounged up for myself. A little jealous…
I hope we all are not making you feel too pressured! Relax and enjoy every second before he is born. I just enjoy checking your posts to see what’s going on. He will come when he is ready. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
I hope Santa brings you your present today!
It can’t be xmas b/c that would mean missing like 3 great months of pumpkin season
The oats look wonderful! Good luck….hope your present is delivered today!
blog when you’re ready, kath – as i learned over the last month, your readers will understand!
Hope the shoot goes well!
Now I’m totally curious about this film crew. Are you going to be on A Baby Story? I guess not if this is a longer-term freelance project. Hmmm, inquiring minds want to know!
Haha no, but that would be cool!
Oh man, I would love to see you and Matt and Berf on that show! We should have started a petition to get you on there!! Probably too late for that now…
I always wanted to be on A Wedding Story, but I never could understand why women wanted their very personal (and sometimes very revealing!) labors on public television. I would like a video of my birth for personal reflection though, but videos aren’t allowed in our hospital.
Haha clearly the anticipation is getting to all of us! Have fun today!
We’re prepped and ready for Isaac.. Main reason I’m worried about losing power? Missing out on the BERF!!!
I have heard of Christmas in July, but not in August

Smile for the camera, Baby KERF! Good luck today!
Mmm mmm I never get tired of your oatmeal pics! I was away for a while and just now catching up on the blog. I’m glad you’re still here.
But I give you permission to have the baby any time this Wed thru next Monday. I’m going to London and won’t be able to read my favorite blogs while I’m there.
I’ll be excited to catch up on everything when I return!
Haha – don’t feel pressure! Just enjoy these next few days to NOT be on a schedule before you’re on a really strict one!
And I love the red and green – it never fails to get me excited for Christmas no matter the time of year!
If you want to blog late, feel free
It’s your life
no pressure!
Even though I don’t know you personally, I am enjoying the suspense of waiting for baby! Perhaps this is why people are so addicted to a baby story (I never saw the show)?!?! I think I even hold my breath a little bit every time I check the blog, like, did it happen? Is this it? I’m such a dork. GOOD LUCK!!! Hope he’s ready soon!
Yum Yum Yum! Thanks for the great post. I shouldn’t be looking at food photo’s right before dinner! I really hope that at some point I can learn how to make a yummy bowl of granola.
Would you be willing to offer up your recipe in more detail!?
I’ve just started eating granola in the morning instead of cereal and I can already feel the health benefits!
Thanks again!
