I didn’t mind being the driver today because I had lots of musical entertainment!

The highlight probably being this CD of 1999 songs – not even the original artists!?! Why would teenage me have bought this!? Throwback to the last millennium!
When we got home around 7, Matt immediately started on a simple dinner. Neither of us was too hungry after our large lunch.
Mini omelets with cheddar cheese, buttered toast
Local strawberries
And a plate of leaves in lemon juice
Plus an episode of Glee* and we called it a night!
*I watched Glee and Matt read his book
Nite!

Okay, that’s it. Tomorrow I’m buying a block of cheddar cheese! I can’t take it anymore.
Haha, oh man, I love that 1999 CD. So many classics! It’s hilarious that they’re not by the original artists. Too funny! Entertaining music always makes long distance drives so much better.
I love the mini-omelettes, cute! I actually really enjoyed the Glee episode from this past week. Love the Bee Gees and especially loved the Glee version of “How Deep is Your Love.” So sweet!
I miss 1999.
I graduated in HS in 1999…would love a flashback car ride to rock out to the ‘oldies’!
Bah!!!! The Beach Boys Christmas album is the bomb.
Is there a Now 2 in that stack??
Ahaha – SO many good collections in there!!
Dinner looks fab – you can’t beat eggs for an easy meal
There’s nothing like local strawberries!
Pretty bummed our season is almost over here in Florida. But it was a great season nonetheless.
Loved glee this week! Hope you enjoyed!
OMG the songs on that CD! I was a kid (literally) in 1999 but all those songs’ lyrics made their way into my little brain and, to this day, take up valuable space. Calculus equations? Who needs ‘em! But the lyrics to My Heart Will Go – I’ve got ya covered!
Boyz II Men are the greatest!! Love them!
Hanson?!?!
Mariah Carey – Music Box?!?
YES PLEASE!!!!!!
Dinner looks so simple yet delicious! Yum!
I found your blog recently and I love it. You are really inspiring. I recently started a weight loss blog too. Would love it if you checked it out. http://watchmeshrinkydink.blogspot.com/
I can’t hear or even see the name of that Aerosmith song without thinking of the scene it was used in in The Sweetest Thing. *yikes*
I had almost all of the same CDs, except for Hanson, haha. I have a huge 80s pop collection on MP3 now; I listen every day and love it just as much!
Throwback songs!! whoa!
I love having breakfast-like food any time of the day!
Strawberries look so good~
Glee is one of the show I watch time to time, it’s fun and I like that I don’t have to watch every single episode to keep up with everything lol
You really make me want to find my good old cd collection
I love 80s and 90s music and that stack of CDs brings back memories!
They just don’t make music like they used to!
Looks delicious, Kath!
So, we had a party today to celebrate my little siblings’ First Communion and some friends’ bdays and one of the moms showed up with a loaf of bread. Great Harvest Honey Whole Wheat, all the way from Layfette, LA! Lol, I flipped out and nearly tackled her.
Finally got to taste GH bread —-> soooo good! I just had to post about it on my blog….
Love listening to ninties tunes! Knowing all the words to songs just makes singing that much less painful for those around you that have to listen
I’m SOOO behind on Glee this season, ahhh! I love it so much I can’t just enter mid-season, and I haven’t had time to start from scratch!
There was definitely a period where the only station I would listen to on Pandora.. was 90′s music. It was nothing short of amazing – and I have since updated my playlists to include MANY 90′s songs!!
I’m always a supporter of breakfast for dinner!
I definitely was just jamming out reallllly hard to Hanson’s Middle of Nowhere the other day. No shame!! None.
Haha I love finding old music! It’s so fun!
I was wondering how all those instagram pictures were going to fit here! haha
Eggs are always my favourite simple meal…last night my son and I enjoyed splitting some scrambled eggs with toast and peas…yummy!
Eggs make a great simple dinner. We don’t do that as often as we should.
I love listening to old cds! They bring back memories.
