Party Like It’s 1999

I didn’t mind being the driver today because I had lots of musical entertainment!

IMG_20120421_133738 this !

The highlight probably being this CD of 1999 songs – not even the original artists!?! Why would teenage me have bought this!? Throwback to the last millennium!

When we got home around 7, Matt immediately started on a simple dinner. Neither of us was too hungry after our large lunch.

Mini omelets with cheddar cheese, buttered toast

Local strawberries

And a plate of leaves in lemon juice

Plus an episode of Glee* and we called it a night!

*I watched Glee and Matt read his book

Nite!

Okay, that’s it. Tomorrow I’m buying a block of cheddar cheese! I can’t take it anymore.

Haha, oh man, I love that 1999 CD. So many classics! It’s hilarious that they’re not by the original artists. Too funny! Entertaining music always makes long distance drives so much better.

I love the mini-omelettes, cute! I actually really enjoyed the Glee episode from this past week. Love the Bee Gees and especially loved the Glee version of “How Deep is Your Love.” So sweet!

There’s nothing like local strawberries! 🙂 Pretty bummed our season is almost over here in Florida. But it was a great season nonetheless.

OMG the songs on that CD! I was a kid (literally) in 1999 but all those songs’ lyrics made their way into my little brain and, to this day, take up valuable space. Calculus equations? Who needs ’em! But the lyrics to My Heart Will Go – I’ve got ya covered!

I can’t hear or even see the name of that Aerosmith song without thinking of the scene it was used in in The Sweetest Thing. *yikes*

    Looks delicious, Kath!

So, we had a party today to celebrate my little siblings’ First Communion and some friends’ bdays and one of the moms showed up with a loaf of bread. Great Harvest Honey Whole Wheat, all the way from Layfette, LA! Lol, I flipped out and nearly tackled her. 😉 Finally got to taste GH bread —-> soooo good! I just had to post about it on my blog…. 😀

There was definitely a period where the only station I would listen to on Pandora.. was 90’s music. It was nothing short of amazing – and I have since updated my playlists to include MANY 90’s songs!!
