I Ate A Water Balloon

November 1, 2010

Man was I sloshy last night. Drinks + chocolate + pizza made for a stomachache that lasted well into the night. I couldn’t sleep on my stomach in fear the water balloon would pop!

Needless to say the pumpkin smoothie I had planned for today was probably the last thing my stomach wanted this morning! No more expansion! I need to remember to listen to how I feel more these days. I have not been paying attention.

What did sound good? APPLES!

I hear you! I can’t eat too much (especially junk food) these days or I’ll suffer for it later!

Ha, I DEFINITELY had a water balloon night on Saturday. Ugh. It’s just so hard to remember “water balloon syndrome” when you’re in the moment, looking at all that delicious food!

I’m a little bloaty myself from last night’s authentic Mexican feast at a friend’s house. Oy.

I hate the feeling I wake up with when I’ve overindulged at night. I usually don’t want breakfast, which stinks because I look forward to it so much!

You look like your dad!

Sounds like a food baby to me! That is the worst. Try and make it fun by naming your food baby and deciding which college he/she will go to. Nooo, it still sucks :(

Happy birthday to KERF Dad!! I’ve been trying to be more aware of how I feel lately too. It’s hard to focus on hunger levels when there’s a lot of delicious food around!

When you have these overindulging stomach aches, a good remedy is apple cider vinegar. The raw, orange-colored kind, that has stuff floating in the bottle. Take a tablespoon by itself, or put it in a glass with water. Apple cider vinegar neutralizes the stomach and stomach acids, and is excellent if you’ve eaten too much, or had too much fat, too much salt, etc. And it’s very healthy for the body.

And Happy Birthday to your Dad.

So much chocolate last night. I fell asleep with a very unfamiliar sugar-overdose-tummy-ache last night. Tasty, but I’m glad it doesn’t happen often!

Hi Kath!
I used to frequently read your blog a couple years (you probably don’t remember, bit I was the one who entered the picture of the cow eating oats for a contest you hosted)
But Ive been so busy this past year with brain surgery that I stopped reading.
Glad to see you’re still doing well!
