Goodness last night was a wee bit wild! Let’s just say my memory is a bit fuzzy

We made plans for a morning walk on the beach, but we have a ferry to catch at 10:30 and decided we’d better go ahead and get dressed or we might run out of time.

I had a Cinnamon Raisin bagel with about 1/3 of a banana, mashed, and half a BB packet

Plus an eggin’

And a bunch of fruit.

‘Twas energizing and delicious.

Monday Gather Time

Pressed For Good Coffee – all about french press!

We actually might have time for that walk, so better get going.

So sad to go back to the real world :(

Morning walks are fun especially with the one you love.

I just tried your oatmeal Brulee and it’s divine. I’ve never had bananas in oats before but now I’m hooked.

So many announcements going around – I’ll definitely be checking back :)
That looks like a good filling breakfast. I love bagels – cinnamon raisin is my favorite flavor. Mashed banana and almond butter sounds like a great topping choice.

I am interested in your post on French Press coffee. I like the taste, but find cleaning out the pot a mess. I prefer just pulling out a filter which will decompose.

19 Jocelyn October 12, 2009 at 9:13 am

looks like the perfect breakfast! :) Have a good trip back!

20 Julie @ Peanut Butter Fingers October 12, 2009 at 9:14 am

love cinnamon raisin bagels :) of course peanut butter makes it all better! haha

22 Courtney October 12, 2009 at 9:36 am

Did you bring your own food on vacation or was that was the inn was serving? It looks amazing and typical of what you would eat at home. Just curious as it can be hard to find healthy eats on vacay.

I have been CRAVING a bagel lately. (probably since my diet lately has been pretty low carb…I know, I know). Was yours whole-wheat? Not that it matters of course but I would be SO happy to find WW bagels somewhere!

I really liked your french press article. When I first got mine my coffee turned out horrible! I don’t know what I was doing wrong (maybe not stirring…) but it took awhile to get it perfect. Now I love it and all my friends are getting french presses for Christmas :)
