A Home For Broken Cookies

July 22, 2011

As the bakery owner, it’s my duty to find a home for the poor souls! Sometimes they go on our sample bread board, but other times my mouth is the coziest place in town!

I just try not to have more than a bite a day Winking smile

Because the comfort must be shared with Blondies and Bread Pudding Bars!

And Honeypillars!

I hail from the land of Body Pump, which gave my muscles a good ride.

Next up the bank.

Finally, to the bakery for lunch

When we made last night’s dinner salads, I pulled some out for lunch today. Morphing is the best! Topped with leftover pinto beans, bleu cheese and Great Harvest Hummus

For dessert – that cookie bite!

There is Popeye bread to bag – gotta run!

Those Honeypillars are so cute! I’m pretty sure I could eat my body weight in blondies. Boy are those good.

I love ‘hailing’ from the land of BodyPUMP. Such a great feeling!

I love small nibbles, makes the tastebuds happy, and does not do much to the waistline. hah ;)

Your salad looks YUMM!

The caterpillar is too cute. Matt must have fun being creative with all the kinds of bread. And I’m sure there are plenty of mouths those broken cookies could find homes in, mine being one of them ;)

Gosh but I wish I could eat gluten when I look at your photos. Everything looks so good and I dearly love doughy things.

I agree – my favorite thing ever is when we make a dinner that can easily be made into a lunch. I had a taco salad yesterday after a Mexican dinner the other night and it was perfect!

If that cookie wants to try some other places, I’d argue my mouth is a pretty cozy place too ;)

Sometimes I wish I were you…. just sometimes. :) HA! I would totally love the ability to take a bit of something different. Ya know? Like a crumb from this one day a crumb from that the next….

That is so cool that you own a bakery! How long have you had it?

I always break apart my cookies to eat them anyway, so I would not have a problem accepting broken cookies for a reduced price! :) One time, the people at Subway gave me a whole bag full of the broken pieces, since they couldn’t sell them, and I was in heaven! :)

I love just taking bites and nibbles of baked goods when they’re around. One bite is often enough to satisfy me – but sometimes I need to eat the whole thing!
