What Goes Up Must Come Down

Thanks for all your nice compliments on my wedding photos 🙂 I have decided to start a wedding photography business: If you invite Matt and me to your wedding and allow us to blend in with the guests, enjoy a few drinks and feed us your wedding cake, I will blog about the experience and have a blog post of photos (and a video – which I made for C+J) ready that night to share with your family and friends! All the details, especially the food, will be documented for free!

Only kidding. Well, sort of. I would happily come to all of your weddings if travel weren’t an obstacle. Oh, and the fact that you probably don’t want some random couple as your guests 🙂

Matt and I went out running today to Jefferson’s house and back. Normally I despise getting in a car to go for a run, but the Monticello Trail is worth it. It’s two miles totally UP hill to Jefferson’s and then two miles back DOWN. But the hill is just steep enough to make running UP and DOWN possible. And the scenery is gorg!

Once home I showered while Matt made lunch!

IMG_4050 (640x427) (2)

Herring salad made with carrot, pepper, basil, mayo, mustard and tomato

IMG_4048 (640x427) (2)

Scooped up with chips

Buttered grilled corn

IMG_4047 (640x427)

And grilled broc tossed in Worcestershire and Garlic Gold Nuggets

Tasted pretty awesome!!

This afternoon I have a walking date with a new friend followed by a dinner date with another new friend!! Good times.

    It’d be perfect…and so random…

‘how do you know the bride and groom?’
‘oh we were college roommates, how do you know the bride and groom?’
‘oh, she reads my blog and comments occasionally and just invited me to come and take pictures for the blog’ haha

    Corn is following me everywhere…

….I will be having it for lunch also. I wish mine had been grilled instead of boiled.

I think you should attend all of your reader’s weddings. I don’t have any interest in marriage….but I do like cake, so it might be worth it! 😉

I actually think the photo business is absolutely genius. You totally wouldn’t have to do it for free either! Just charge beer, wedding cake, and a few hundred dollars. You’ll be in business is no time 😉
