Toto, It’s Not Summer Anymore

For some crazy reason I didn’t get hungry until 2pm today. I finished the entire family room (and by finished I mean all boxes are out – it still needs couch + décor). Photos to come on a sunnier day! We’ve got lots of gray clouds here.

IMG_7180-2Blog

Last night, we were freezing in bed. This morning I had to turn the air back off. It’s definitely not summer anymore. And also, watermelon has lost its lure.

IMG_7172-2Blog

For lunch I made a salad sprinkled with bleu D’auvergne, leftover salmon, green peppers, fruity vinegar, lavender salt and Grawnola.

IMG_7175-2BlogIMG_7181-2Blog IMG_7176-2Blog

And ye ole watermelon

IMG_7173-2Blog

I’m headed to the bakery for a bit. Have a jolly good afternoon!

I know I’m finding that exact same thing with my summer fruit…it’s definitely coming to an end. Luckily there are so many delicious things to eat in Fall otherwise I would be REALLY sad 🙂

Also? I was the total opposite of you today. I literally was counting down the minutes until noon so I could eat lunch! Yesterday I was on the later side…appetites are funny aren’t they? I credit your fullness to that delicious Cville Crunch bread 😉

I just eat whenever. If I waited till I actually felt hungry, it wouldn’t happen. My signals are messed up.

It’s so cold here now too. Very deceptive though because the sun is out but the wind is biting. Not ready for fall 🙁

on days like today when you weren’t hungry until 2pm are you still planning on having dinner at the same time? or does it throw your meals off for the day? I find that I won’t be hungry for dinner if I have a late lunch.. and I might get hungry later for dinner but if I eat much I won’t be hungry for breakfast in the morning..? I hate it when my meals get all out of wack.

I know what you mean about just not getting hungry until later for some unknown reason. I try to just eat when hunger strikes, but sometimes even when I’m not too hungry for lunch I end up eating and eating and not getting full for quite some time! Who knows, bodies are peculiar huh!
