Three Times The Fun

GUF. Worked hard all morning to only accomplish one thing when I’d set a goal for 4 🙁 These test questions we have to write for Nutrition Communication are taking me FOR-EVA 👿 I’m still not finished with this week’s set! I don’t like starting tasks and not finishing so I pushed to the last minute and then had to rush through lunch and be on my way to class.

I also had to leave for class earlier than usual to meet Victoria so we could carpool. I threw together this salad for lunch and had to stuff it in to leave on time

IMG_1961 (640x480)

Baby spinach, zucchini, carrot, gorgonzola, Daisy Cottage Cheese, walnuts, 3-Pepper melba toast "croutons" and some Annie’s Wookstock dressing. Water bottle water was also consumed, but ruined the photograph so I took it back out.

IMG_1960 (640x480)

Sweet Matt packed me some cantaloupe that I didn’t have time to eat to take with me to class. I got a sudden burst of hunger in the middle of Metabolism (my body going hint hint!) and I ate it and saved the bar for my ride home.

IMG_1963 (640x480)

Amelia brought me two of Nicole’s Nutty Goodness bars that are homemade in Charleston.

IMG_1964 (640x480)

100% raw + simple ingredients

IMG_1965 (640x480)

And TOTAL BLISS!!! These are really 3 fruit leather type pieces (dehydrated!) and I cannot believe there was no butter or brown sugar involved – it tasted like coffee cake!

IMG_1966 (640x480)

I loved that there were multiple pieces = eating was more fun

IMG_1967 (480x640)

I see she makes a pumpkin spice flavor as well! You can buy them online at NuttyGoodness.net.

Spotted by Stephanie: Peanut Butter mixer online!

I’m hoping to finish my questions and another small thing before dinner. And then maybe stay up late again to get something else knocked off.

I’m super excited about that stirrer. That’s why I don’t like to buy natural in a jar. This may be my life saver 🙂

Sorry about the rushed no fun feeling. At least lunch looks good and you got a fun snack 🙂

Is there any way to order those snack bars online? They look so delicious, but I have trouble finding completely raw snacks that really taste good around here.

I love it when food tastes like it should contain something but it doesn’t especially when it helps save calories and enhance the nutritional profile! Great find!

Those Nutty Goodness Bars look so good. I wonder if they can safely ship to Canada. I’ll have to email the site and find out. I love pumpkin, so the Pumpkin Spice would be right up my alley.

I love those bars, but they are so pricey! 🙁 I think I bought 5 for $15 a month or so ago at the Charleston Farmer’s Market from Nicole herself. I like that she described them as tasting like ‘chewy banana nut bread.’ $3/bar isn’t so bad…but places like Teavana sell them for $4/bar! Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say HI. Love your blog and your honesty and how you aren’t afraid to talk about your weight, etc..it’s very inspiring and your meals always look delish!
