The Lawn Party Continues

IMG_2685 (800x600)

IMG_2690 (800x600)

Today’s Spread:

IMG_2687 (800x600)

I brought a bowl of spinach, half a lemon and a garbanzo bean salad made with lemon juice (the other half), feta, and Sriratcha (we just bought some more of this – it has been way too long!)

IMG_2691 (800x600)

I squirted the lemon on the spinach and dumped the beans on the salad for a wonderful entree. Baby spinach is so easy to stuff into a lunch box for an instant salad.

IMG_2694 (800x600)

I used Kelsey for a photography table

 this !

IMG_2693 (800x600)

I also packed some green grapes

IMG_2697 (800x600)

And a Peach Chobani with a few tbsp AgavePlus granola

IMG_2701 (800x600)

I’ll be munching on this Nature’s Path FlaxPlus Pumpkin Bar during Foodservice! It came in my Yoga Jam bag, and I can’t wait to try it.

Soup Spotting!

The Nutty Vanilla Sweet Potato + Kale Soup made yet another appearance at Lola Runs!

Hey Kath, that sunshine looks great, but I hope you used some sunscreen today. Can’t believe after that burn yesterday, you are back out there today…. really bad for your skin. You eat so healthy, hope you are taking care of your skin.

Otherwise, lunch looks great and good luck on the upcoming tests.

    Enjoy your day!

I always wear sunscreen – except yesterday! Today I’m wearing long pants and we moved into the shade right after eating.

i am CRAZY jealous of your amazing weather and beautiful picnics. our snow finally mostly melted (though it did wet snow a bit more this morn) and it was 17ºC last week (that like 64 or something) but the ground was all wet and mucky. no lying on the grass (which is still dead-ish) in shorts 🙁
soon. soon. i just have to be patient, i guess.

i guess it’s good that you are exposing your body to a little sun before your equatorial adventure! you wouldn’t want to burn while you’re away.

I remember nice days in college when everyone would lay out on the lawn to study. In upstate New York, those days are few and far between! It’s funny because I think in San Diego we take for granted the sunny days sometimes.

WOOOW how gorgeous is your “study area”?!?!??!! You betcha I’m jealous. How does one concentrate in such glorious weather with such good lookin’ food around?!??! hahaha

I know when i study, i gotta be:
    1) AWAY from temptation, the main one being snacks in my pantry
    2) no glorious weather – or I will want to play!

Maybe you should bring a frisbee next time and toss it around during your study break!!! It’ll help rejuvenate your brain cells! I promise!
