  • 2 blobs of hummus
  • 1 blob sun-dried tomato peasto
  • Polenta cube croutons
  • A few okras

I wasn’t too hungry from that big bowl of oatmeal, but I had to eat because we’re being kicked out of the condo to show it to a potential renter.

And then I’m going to IKEA with Emily! Someone freeze my bank account stat! I’ve never been to the Charlotte IKEA because I knew we were moving and I knew I didn’t’ need to buy anything. But with a new house comes new needs, and I have a list of about 7 things that I must purchase! Let’s hope I don’t come out with anything extra 😉

    Haha, I hope you find some restraint in Ikea – that’s the kinda place where I would need to sell my mother to be able to buy everything I wanted 😛

    That salad looks so yummy! Okra is the best, but I never have it because I live in the Northeast. Have fun at Ikea! Wish I could go shopping instead of site at my desk. Online shopping will have to suffice 😉

    IKEA is loads of fun – unless you’re me last week and chop off part of your heel with your cart and bleed all over the floor.. and you’re by yourself… and they have to call a maintenance worker to mop up your blood.

    I love going to Ikea. It has to be on a day when I nothing else planned, because I tend to stay in that store for hours and hours.

    IKEA is dangerous. I always practice the hold it for 10 minutes rule to see if you still want it after 10 minutes. Otherwise I would own IKEA.

    Good luck at IKEA!I usually make myself a shopping list to stick to but, I can never make it safely out of there without at least 4 extra things I did not originally plan on purchasing!

    That looks like such a great salad, I always wonder how you don’t get tired of your salads. I typically can eat a salad for lunch for a week and then I need to switch it up.

    When you use shrimp with your dinners and what not, do you buy frozen or fresh?

    Not to mention the fact that IKEA pulls you in with the smell of cinnamon rolls! I think it makes you all relaxed and ready to spend! Lunch looks delicious. Enjoy your outing!

    Hahaha, so funny you mentioned that about IKEA. Although I’ve never been to one, I just posted about my same troubles with Target. I can never leave that store without buying something not on my list!

    It’s impossible, (i mean IMPOSSIBLE) to go to Ikea without spending more money than you’d like!!

    I finally got to sink my teeth into a slice of Dakota. OMG! What is it that makes it SO good? Is it the fresh wheat grind? Our local recipe seemed nice and salty also. Does Matt plan to change any recipes to his liking?

    That salad looks ridiculous! I’ve been out of my salad stage for the past couple of days, but that makes me want one again.

    I heart IKEA. It’s a 15 minute drive from my house, which has proved to be a problem over and over again.

    I think moving constitutes an excellent reason to drop a little cash in Ikea. Have fun and make sure to check out their edibles section! It has the most literal name ever, but the “Good for You” muesli is pretty yummy.
