The 9 Month Weight

I walked downtown today….

Foodblog-26

For my final Pump Challenge class!! At least for a while : ) Next Monday is Labor Day so my normal class would be different (if I am still pregnant) and by the week after that I should have a baby in my arms to lift! I have to thank my friends for being the main reason I went to Pump nearly every week of this pregnancy. If I hadn’t had them to look forward to seeing, I probably wouldn’t have stuck with it so much! My muscles aren’t quite as strong as they were 9 months ago, but then again, I have a good amount of body weight to lift on a daily basis so maybe I’m about the same. Hope to be back at it in good time!

Foodblog-22

After Pump, my friend Lara and I and her cute little boy headed to lunch

Foodblog-54-3

We picked up salads at Rev Soup and took them to the park to eat in the sunshine.

Foodblog-55-2

The Gulf Rim for me with shrimp, egg and avocado!

Foodblog-54-2

Plus a cornbread muffin on the side

Foodblog-55

Foodblog-53

Lara [the botanical artist] gave me this awesome baby shirt with a print of her kale artwork ironed on!! Love it! Eat More Kale, baby style : ) [Haha notice the baby peeking out to the left!]

Foodblog-57

Matt and I are honored to be featured on Beyond The Flavor today!! Remember when we carried that Great Harvest box downtown a few weeks ago? It contained a homemade pizza!

Andrea and Sarah [both professional photographers and foodies] have done an amazing job building the site! Every single post is gorgeous.

Good afternoon!

Maybe when you only have a few minutes to spare, but not enough time to blog! 🙂 Not that you won’t be busy with the blog, baby, bakery and…. I need a “B” word! Oh I know. Question about the pizza – it says that any veggies going on the pizza should be pre-cooked. For tomatoes and peppers, do you guys roast them in the oven first? Or how do you precook them for a pizza? Thanks!

My older sister was born on Labor Day!! Actually my sisters and I were all born on holidays. So are the kids we have so far. My next daughter is due November 13th, and I am really hoping she comes on Halloween (way early, I know) so we can keep the tradition alive. I don’t think I could hold this baby in until Thanksgiving. 🙂

Greetings from a fellow Charlottesvillian! I have you to thank for turning me on to Body Pump. I’ve been dong it 3 times a week for about 6 weeks and my upper body is stronger, my posture is better, and I have so much more definition. I generally feel much better in my own skin. I’m really grateful…
Good luck in the next few weeks. I’ll be thinking about you at this exciting time!

I get pizza envy every. single. time. you blog about your homemade pizzas! If I recall the crust is Great Harvest Bread, so I would have to find a substitute for that, but I have got to learn to think outside the box for toppings. It seems the little’s dictate the toppings in our house, but that shouldn’t prevent the adults from making their own individual pizza’s with different toppings! The little’s might even learn to think outside the box. I believe pizza’s will be making an appearance on our weekly menu soon. Thanks!
