Sun Day

Inside out day is going great so far!!

runnergirl2Blog

This morning my friend Suzanne came over for a walk. We walked + talked for about an hour covering 3.3 miles around my neighborhood.

I came home and changed the laundry…

I’m working on more cleaning experiments! GOOD NEWS!

IMG_7012Blog-2

And then went back out on our same walking route, running this time! I covered 6.6 glorious outside miles!

Matt is gardening and brewing beer

IMG_7014Blog

Lunchtime called!

Mmmmmmmmmm pimento cheese on High Five bread!!!! Plus more spiced pecans

IMG_7054Blog

A few strawbs

IMG_7052Blog-2

And a wonderful fresh salad

Salad-8Blog

We were out of sparkling water, but it’s back!

Fun day thus far! Although I showered, I intend to go back outside for more playing – this time on my bike! Unfortunately it’s not all that warm outside and I’m kind of cold in shorts and a t-shirt. Might have to go put on more layers!

BYE!

Have you ever tried to use vodka as room spray? It actually smells so good with some lavender infused in it. It is just a little bit ‘out there’ though 🙂

Your salads ALWAYS look so delicious! Its hard for me to make myself go and wash a head of lettuce. Do you buy prewashed bagged/boxed lettuce? Or do you wash it all at once and store it in some kind of container in the fridge? I want to include more greens in my diet!

I usually buy pre-washed organic spinach – which I do not wash again. But this salad was half romaine, which was a head that I washed in bulk and then tucked back in the fridge with a paper towel

I have a water carbonator that I love and I’m wondering if – being green – you would be interesting in carbonating your own water. The brand is Soda Stream and I got it on Amazon for around $100. I’ve been loving it. Not only do I never run out of carbonated water (and never have to pay for it), but it’s also a green move because there are no bottles, no shipping water on trucks, nothing.
