Summer And The City

"I’d like to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly….."

[Love that song!!]

Feels like summer It’s almost here!!!

Slept late. Woke up. Made oats.

IMG_5315 (640x427)

But first I polished my iced tea spoons, which were all tarnished. My grandmother gave them to me from her collection and I LOVEEEEE them!!

IMG_5306 (640x427)

IMG_5305 (640x427)

Love the long handle, the small bite-sized head, the shine.

IMG_5308 (640x427)

The polish made such a difference.

IMG_5304 (640x427)

Oats rocked.

The usual……

1/3 cup oats, milk, water, half banana, half TBSP chia.

Muffin top! And a couple teaspoons of different nut butters. I went a little wild with them!

IMG_5327 (640x427)

This bowl ROCKED though!! Cali bowls representing my summertime bold mood!

IMG_5313 (640x427)

On the coffee front, I’m debuting another fun dishware find:

IMG_5325 (427x640)

These are City Scape Thermo Mugs by Sagaform!

They come in a 2-pack

IMG_5299 (640x414)

And other than the chic design, the bottom is grippy – which I love!!

IMG_5302 (640x426)

Easy access:

IMG_5312 (640x427)

IMG_5318 (640x427)

IMG_5320 (640x427)

IMG_5310 (640x427)

Off to pack and play!!

The spoons are so pretty. I love old silverware and kitchen stuff! We have my in-laws silver from when they got married. I need to pull it out and polish it. Your oats look delicious! Oh and love the coffee cups! Enjoy your Saturday!

I wish I had some tea spoons! So cute. I love summer, too. It makes me want to just go outside and BASK in the heat. I felt like I was frozen all winter; now I’m alive again!

I love how there’s no handle to the coffee mug. It’s like a HUG-mug! 😀

And the spoons are adorable. I simply love how each spoon is a little different. 😀

Those spoons are so beautiful! I actually eat with those tiny, cheap baby spoons (ten pack for a dollar, I think) and I love how, I dunno, dainty? it makes me feel. 😀

Looks like you enjoyed another great bowl of oats. Looks good!

When I was younger I would always use my Grandfather’s ice tea spoon to eat ice cream. He used to get so annoyed! 😉 They’re just the perfect size. I still hate using heavy spoons and always use the smaller ones in the set when possible.
