I love eggs on salad. I just made a big batch of pesto and have been swirling that in eggs – it’s the perfect salad (or burger!) addition.

How did you roast the sweet potatoes? Did you just coat them with a little EVOO and put them on a baking sheet? Looks great.

I’ve never had an egg on a sald before. I’m weird about textures and just can’t go there… I think I need to live a little and try it (since everyone else in the world has). Oh, and that fan on the porch is great.

Sweet potatoes and bread (together) are in all of my meals lately.

Add some yogurt and dessert to that palate and that would be a nice idea for a small meal.

I’ve always thought stripes had such a nautical feel, don’t you? Love them 🙂 And during the Christmas season they hearken up images of candy canes and whatnot . . . so festive and bright. I can always count on your blog to be bright and merry, regardless of the externalities of this bustling, harried, frosty season. Keep up the good work!

EXTRA, EXTRA Read all about it!!
Careful on how you choose your stripes! Wear your stripes the way you want people to see you!
Vertical (up and down) will slim you, horizontal stripes (sideways) will make you appear a little “bigger” or fat!

Thanks for the tip re: the extension for Chrome. I played around with my settings before I installed it and I noticed that if you click on the “super settings” tab (in your Google blog reader) and then check “full entry content” you can also get the full experience (with header/ads, etc.). With the Chrome extension, it seems I have to click the “link” tab every time I read you feed, but with the “super settings” tab, that feature sticks around permanently for all blogs in your reader.
I hope it still counts towards your pageviews? I didn’t realize that reading through an RSS feed didn’t give you an accurate count of how many people were reading – not cool!

It may have only come up as a feature once I downloaded the extension, but I don’t think so. When you open your blog reader (in Chrome), you have to click on one of the blogs, and then it comes up as a button right above the space where the blog is read – to the right of the “feed settings” button. Hope this helps!
