Soggy Bottom

Rain rain go away – no one likes soggy bread!! And my bike is out there getting wet!

But bread pudding…that seems to be a hit : ) I think this is my new favorite sweet. It’s definitely the most decadent. Just finished having a taste for lunch dessert!

IMG_1863 (640x427)

Although I also LOVE the granola bars! They’re made from the Cville Cluster granola!

IMG_1864 (640x427)

Carbs are balanced by my daily lunch salad – and a taste of the whole grain goodness.

IMG_1869 (640x427)

Chewy Nine Grain with greens dressed in olive oil, honey and salt.

IMG_1870 (640x427)

On the protein + fruit front – a Stonyfield with strawbs

IMG_1866 (640x427)

Red, white and blueberry!

IMG_1867 (640x427)

IMG_1865 (640x427)

Matt is on a mini VACATION! Well, just home to chill for a bit. Hope you’re having fun Kanz! Holding down the fort here!

Later gators!

After a morning at the bakery, my mouth is WATERING just looking at that lettuce. Yogurt—stiiiiiiiill good!

Bread pudding should be a regular item. It’s the green thing to do 🙂

That Chewy Nine Grain looks delish – love a nutty, chewy bread! It’s pouring rain on and off here too – just in time for the weekend of course 🙁

But…if you don’t stop displaying the yummy goodness of said baked goods I am going to have to stop reading your blog! For reals…I want to hop on a plane right this minute and buy a PAN of those bread pudding bars.

I just made your pasta salad from the other night (with the swiss chard & all the fresh herbs) . I used brown rice penne pasta and basil pesto-because that’s what I had on hand, and I had all the herbs you used growing in my garden. It was fast, easy and one of the most flavorful pasta salads I’ve EVER had ! It’s a keeper and I’m going to be enjoying that over & over all summer long! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
