Semi Homemade

Study session has begun… Over a healthy lunch of course!

I had Thai Red Curry soup with an expensive beverage!! I thought I was saving money by getting soup, but between the SOUPER expensive soup price and Komboucha, it was about $10 anyways! Oh well 🙂

I also brought a slice of Dakota and two clems from home, but one of the oranges was too dry and I tossed it.

PLUS Kelsey and Lauri shared bites of the turkey and cranberry sandwich and chips!

Brain food.

Mmmm…that soup looks good! Kombucha is definitely “brain liquid.” Although sometimes if I drink it on an empty stomach, I start to feel tipsy. Woo hoo!

I too love Kombucha, but it is soooo tough on the wallet. I wonder if there is a way to buy it in bulk…. Best of luck on your exam!

Sometimes you can buy a whole case of Kombucha at a 20% discount…we do that at our local whole foods. I love when it’s on sale too =)

Never had Kombucha, I don’t even think they have it in Canada?? This is probably a good thing though. Do you find the soup as satisfying as your salads? I think salad would be more fun to eat.

Our local coffee shop which does soups, salads, breads, and a couple sandwich choices is also a little pricey. I seldom get out of there for under $10, and that’s without the beverage! Your soup looks good.

I haven’t tried Kombucha. My doctor told me a story about a person who ended up with mushrooms growing in their stomach after drinking it all the time, and I can’t get that image out of my head!

Good luck on your tests! Happy Friday.
