Rain Is A Good Thing

RainBlog-2

‘Cause rain makes corn. And corn makes whiskey!

IMG_7394-2Blog

Somedays rainy days are fun. Today is one – I’m hunkered in the house with Mr. ADT and working at the computer for most of the day. House projects and laundry thrown in between! [IKEA furniture being delivered on Friday, going to Tennessee for a wedding on Sat/Sun. Also, I LOVE doing laundry in my new laundry room!]

Oats > Whiskey

Somedays!

Coach’s oats with banana, chia seeds, cottage cheese topped with Cville Cluster and sunflower butter.

IMG_7387-2Blog

Vanilla tea by Adagio. These are the best black teas I’ve ever found. Need to buy more!

Have a nice rainy day!

GAH! I’m so jealous of your cozy rainy day situation!! I literally JUST said to my friend that I want to be hunkered down inside my house in comfy clothes having a cozy morning!

I finished off the last of my Cville Cluster this morning – so sad, but now I get to break open the Groovy Granola which I’m SUPER excited about 🙂

I love rainy, gloomy, cloudy days.
We’ve had about a 5-day stretch of cloudy days here in Clt… until today. The sun is shining this morning, and frankly, I’m a little disappointed.

I ate muffin crumbles on my yogurt this morning, a la KERF. (It was the first time! I generally opt for the crunch-factor on yogurt – but it was goooood).

    Hi Kath!

How much sunflower butter and granola do you typically use in/on your oats? You seem to have a good amount without going overboard, and I tend to put in too much so I need to start measuring. 🙂 Thanks!

Hey Katy – I don’t measure! I just sprinkle until the top layer is pretty covered with granola and I’d guess I use about a tbsp – maybe slightly more or less any given day – of nut butter.
