Many Meetings

I’ve been in many meetings this morning, one with Matt, one with Relay Foods (GH Cville coming soon!), and more! And that just happens to be one of my favorite Lord of the Rings soundtrack songs!!

Continuing the bike theme of today, I went to cycle class this morning! As I was biking there, I pondered to myself why I was biking to a dark indoor bike class on a beautiful day. I almost just biked outside, but the traffic and indecisiveness on where to go made me pause. I ended up going inside and had a great class! I sweat more in indoor cycle than I do when running outside in the summer!! Crazy. Great music too! The class ends with a 10 minute core session in the neighborhood group ex room. Great workout!

Let’s talk smells. This weekend at HLS Ashley, who is my Bearfriend and works at Proctor & Gamble in the fragrance dept (can we say dream job!?) was wearing this new smell:

IMG_0140 (600x450)

I could not stop loving the whiffs of her wrists! So much so that she took this little baby bottle out of her purse and handed it over!! I put some on the women’s locker room today and cannot keep my nose off my wrists. You must go to a store and smell it! Thanks Ash!

IMG_0138 (600x450)

Bakery time!!

IMG_0137 (600x450)

IMG_0135 (600x450)

Lunch today was curried tuna served on some High Five with blueberries cooked in!!

IMG_0132 (600x450)

I just love our curried tuna. It’s the perfect blend of savory spice. And with the blueberries – don’t knock till you’ve tried!

IMG_0134 (600x450)

Daily monthly orange on the side!

IMG_0131 (600x450)IMG_0130 (600x450)

I had to taste test some bread + a brownie (different recipe) today for dessert. Oh the woes of owning a bakery!

I haven’t worn fancy-schmancy perfume for ages. In my high school days I remember liking Ralph Lauren’s Romance. Ugh. Too, too flowery for me nowadays. Then I went to lighter body-splash type things. I love citrusy scents the BEST. (Anyone know of a good citrusy perfume? Currently I wear C.O. Bigelow Lemon Eau de Parfum).
So often a scent that smells good on someone, smells completely different on me. Or, I’m just finicky. 😉

Could you put strawberries or raspberries in the bread, or would they get mushy or something? Are the blueberries in the bread your’s and Matt’s concoction, or was that Great Harvest’s idea?

If we owned a bakery, there would be a lot of quality control going on 🙂 If pizza was in the mix as well at our bakery, boy, oh, boy, would I be in heaven (LOL)

No matter what perfume I wear I always end up smelling like a ‘French Whore’ hahaha for lack of better description. The only perfumes that don’t make me smell super ‘purfumey’ are the natural Pacifica perfumes (Tuscan Bood Orange!) and Burberry Brit, London and Classic.

It’s so interesting how perfume can smell so drastically different on each individual person.

High Five with BLUEBERRIES?!? That sounds amazing!!! I wish my local GH had that one! 🙁
I had the Woodstock for the first time this morning, toasted and topped with Justins Maple Almond Butter. Heavenly 🙂

I love the high-end fragrances (but usually never buy them for myself – great gift idea)! My favorites are CK In2U her, Ralph Lauren Hot, Armani Acqua di Gio for women, Emporio Armani for women, Lacoste Essential (which is a men’s cologne, but I LOVE the scent of it!) 🙂

I love Gucci’s line of fragrances…the name one in particular which I really like isn’t coming to mind but its in a tall clear bottle with pink “G’s” all over!

I think I would gain weight if I worked in a bakery. Pastries and bread are my weakness. Good practice in moderation and self control though! 🙂
