Kissy Kissy

IMG_0059

I’ve missed two Body Pump classes and was back at it today – ouch! Don’t know if it was my absence or just lots of walking yesterday or maybe it’s just time to drop some weight off! My Pump instructors talk about missing a week or two for vacation and “really feeling it” so maybe just missing a week is enough for a set-back. Either day, I’m very glad I went!

I’ve been planning this eggwich for two days now!

IMG_0061

Fried egg + goat cheese + red pepper on a homemade Matt bun!

IMG_0065

Chip crumbs on the side

IMG_0062

And a pile of plum, which wasn’t very good

Sad smile this !

IMG_0060

IMG_0068

For dessert – kissy, kissy, kissy

IMG_0064

Adios!

Ugh, I hate when fruit turns out to be not very good – so disappointing! I tend to have really bad luck with pears for some reason.

Those homemade buns look so good! I like my buns thick – more like ciabatta rolls. I may have to try making them with pizza dough!

I hear ya on the plum – I had one the other day and it was all pithy inside and not tart/sweet the way it should be. Eggwiches on the other hand never disappoint!

Plums are one of those things when good, they’re awesome. When not good, well, yeah…I know what you mean.

A two-day-planned egg sammy? Hope it was as good as expected!

The homemade buns look delicious! I love a good roll. 🙂 I love egg sandwiches. They are usually quite filling.

I love how that little Kiss is in the middle of the plate…almost hiding. I don’t know how you can just have 1 though…I love them so much, I eat a ton at a time! Nothing worse than a mushy/not sweet enough plum, though. At least you had the Kiss to make up for it 🙂

Egg sandwiches with goat cheese are my favorite!

I’m a regular Body Pumper and pregnant (28 weeks), and seriously, it changes a lot when you’re pregnant. I go twice a week, and sometimes I’ll feel GREAT, other times I can’t make it through the class. Sometimes I can lift my pre-preggo weights, sometimes I have to cut waaaaay back. I’ll skip a week, come back, and not be sore at all… or I’ll be going regularly, have a fairly non-challenging class, and wake up super sore the next morning. So weird!

That sandwich looks great! But plums and peaches aren’t worth buying till July, or really August! off season they just never taste right.

That looks soooo good! I’m a fan of sautéed red peppers and onions and eggs sunny-side up…wrap it all up in a grilled brown rice tortilla!

As tempting as it is to buy fruit out of season because it looks good…it more than often fails the test of being sweet and satisfying! Thank goodness summer is just around the corner and there will be an abundance of fresh fruit and veggies to eat to our heart’s content!

This has NOTHING to do with this post =), but I went to the store without my children (side note: You will understand how nice this is one day! lol) earlier this evening, so I actually got to take my time, peruse, and enjoy it! I just “happened” to find the Biscoff spread!!! I tried to will myself not to open it until tomorrow morning for some pre-run fuel, but couldn’t help it! I just had to taste it and you were sooooo right – delish! Thanks for mentioning it in a previous post I read!

How many days a week do you typically go to body pump? I go twice a week, and all my other exercise is cardio, not strength training, but I’m wondering if I need to step it up and do more with weights!

That eggwich looks better than any I have ever had! I have never made an eggwich before, but have had them out and about–not very often, though.
