Intermittent sunshine here today, but a lovely one indeed. I’m really enjoying reading all of the BERF comments on names today!! Thanks to the 98% of you who have been nice : ) You guys have some awesome ideas!

I went grocery shopping this morning, which was bad because I wasn’t in a rush and bought too many want items. But a lot of needs too! Such as more popsicles

Winking smile this !

IMG_20120417_122348

FYI, yay for Instagram on Android! Connect with me as @katheats if you want. I’m still learning how to figure out the whole following thing, but I love the app!

IMG_9180

I did some nibbling off my groceries as I put them away (almond here, melted ice cream top there) so I was in a snacking mood for lunch.

Newly purchased goat cheese was a lunch requirement – atop of greens with last week’s brown avocado

IMG_9184

One of those wants – Route 11 chips! Karen got me hooked on our IKEA trip last week. Or maybe it’s a craving phase. Obsessed!

IMG_9182

New fruits

And added this guy for a dash more protein. From the Siggi’s batch we were sent.

Routine doctor’s appt at 3pm! Exciting!

I love when I have tons of new foods to taste after the grocery store! Haha I’m so bad about digging into things while I’m putting it all away – especially grapes! They never last long…

Hi Kath! Always enjoyed reading your blog for a few years now! I’ve always envisioned that pregnant women ate out of control and always had junk food cravings. Thank you for challenging and proving my vision wrong! It gives me inspiration that when I’m pregnant that I can follow a nutritious diet like you have exemplified!

I was inspired by your lunch boxes you always get at whole foods and stopped by the fresh market and created one on my own! Although they didn’t have as good as a selection as whole foods, I am now officially obsessed with tofu and can’t wait to try some of your recipes!

You got a batch of stuff from Siggi’s?? SO JEALOUS. If you had the coconut yogurt, you have to let me know how it was. I just can’t bring myself to buy it a 200 calories for 5.3 oz of yogurt (I’d rather have a full cup of froyo for the same calories!!)

I didn’t think it was double-the-calories worth it, but it was good. Worth trying on your own to see. I have 2 in my fridge – I’ll have to try again. It was on the runny side, which I didn’t like

How do you determine how much you will need for the week? I’m trying to change my shopping habits because it’s really only me and my daughter. Like I see you have a few red potatoes, where I will still buy the 3-5pound bag.

I am an Insta-addict, I love using it for food photography, the effects make everything look more delicious. Next time I make something that’s KathEats inspired I’ll be sure to Instagram it and tag you! It would make my Instagram career if my favorite blogger followed me back on my new favorite social media 😉 😉 @thenataliegray.
