I Need A Mary Poppins Carpet Bag

I swear it zips! I swear!! You just have to sit on it!

IMG_7682

I am checking a bag, but since I am coming home 10 days sooner than Matt, I get the duffle bag while he gets the big suitcase. Still, I overflowed a few things from my bag to his 😉 I’ll be wearing my big boots and down coat, and we’ve got two little Tide packets to do a load of laundry at our hotel mid-way through.

Packing wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I am still determined to be the most organized traveler in the sky! We’ll see how that goes 😉 Should be better with my rolling briefcase [which has yet to be packed!]

Matt and I set out on a run before lunch. What I love most about runs is they are so quick. No driving to the gym. No equipment transitions. Just running. We set out on an unspecified route and ended up covering 6.9 miles!

When we returned, major foam rolling and yoga tuna balling was necessary. My quads and IT bands are SO tight and knotted!

IMG_7680

Matt heated up lunch while I showered

IMG_7673

A glorious mix of leftover soup – spiked with broccoli and beans – and pretzels, which I just love.

IMG_7661

This clam chowder was one of the best soups we’ve ever made. Make it again!

Palate cleanser: mint tea and peppermint bark.

Girl I don’t know how you’re doing a duffel even with washing clothes. It’s Montana, I’d bring nothing but hoodies and super thick sweaters! haha

I loved peppermint bark this holiday season, for the first time. It’s delicious!
