HOT to COOL

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Winter is on the way!! No need for air conditioning here, and bring on the warm foods [I could also just put on a sweater

Today’s lunch was a blend of our past 3 meals

Quinoa, millet, grilled eggplant, squash sauteed with garam masala, curry and coconut butter

With a side of toast – Cinnamon Raisin Walnut

    I love warm weather foods! I have tried…and love…quinoa…never have yet tried millet though…must add that to my list.

    Bet you are going to HOT yoga??? I went to my first warm yoga class last week and really liked it – the room was 85 degrees, but even that was intense.

    I am so happy it’s cooler, if only for one day. I made a big pot of chili last night and tonight I think soup and homemade bread are on the menu. LOVE IT. Fall, come quickly! 😀

    I could go for a nice warming meal, it’s freezing here as well. I believe we’re having eggplant and spaghetti with fresh made sauce tonight (just incase you needed a warm inspiration :P).

    And I like the new layout as well, it’s really organized. One problem though, and sorry if you’re aware of it already (or if it’s just my computer), but when I go to click on the “Kath RD” button, I get the old product bylaws page.

      Well, it’s a drop down menu. The bylaws are a drop to the Kath parent page. I wondered if this would be confusing. Try JUST clicking the Kath, RD part.

    Brrrr! I guess I’m not the only one sipping hot tea throughout the day, though today is a lot more warmer here in Vancouver than it has been for the past few days.

    I love quinoa!!! I think I’ll be having some tonight for dinner..I have no clue how I’m going to cook it though!!

    Isn’t hot yoga the best thing when it’s cold? I couldn’t have survived without it this past winter!! I owe it big to whomever invented stretching in the heat =D

      My first one lasted me almost 2 years!! I think they are “supposed” to last 6 months? But you can definitely stretch it.

    My guess for HOT was the Hot springs in Virginia – but maybe that was a bit too generous. It is cooler here in Baltimore, too. You have inspired me to change up my blog – was a defunct knitting blog. Now I hope to talk about like and food!

    Woot! If it’s getting cold where you are, that means it’s getting warmer down here in Australia! HAPPY HAPPY! (I’ve only had one summer in three years because of travelling. I can’t wait for summer fruit and not wearing jumpers!!)
