Healthy Halloween Recipes To Make This Weekend

Here are some healthy Halloween recipes to make for your party or family gathering, plus fun activities to do!

this !

^^ Last year’s pirate!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday!

Although you may catch me saying that about Thanksgiving and Christmas too 😉 I’ve always loved dressing up, and it being the week of my birthday smack in the middle of my favorite season is always fun. My go-to costume is a witch!

The boys and I went to Spirit Halloween with KK (it’s her all-time favorite store!) and had fun looking at all the choices.

Isn’t KK looking good these days?!

Haha just kidding! She says hello!!

Birch is going as Genie from Aladdin!

His costume is from Amazon and he’s been wearing it all day, every day. (And I was heading to the Brewer’s Ball!)

Mazen is going as a scary evil pumpkin

Thomas also added these two scary accessories to our yard.

Everyone LOVES the swinging lady (she’s SO scary at night when the wind blows her), but I’m not sure about the spider-eating baby…

Halloween Party Snack: Spooky Eyeballs

And you can see my witch costume in action in this hilarious video I made for Natural Delights dates!

In the video I teach you how to make these creepy eyeballs with dates, peanut butter, marshmallow, chocolate chips, and red gel.

If you’re looking for a festive fall recipe to enjoy this Halloween weekend, I’m sharing a handful of healthy Halloween recipes below along with family-friendly activities and autumn home decor ideas!

Healthy Halloween Recipes

1. Pumpkin Goat Cheese Kale Lasagna

Make this pumpkin goat cheese lasagna before trick-or-treating; it can be made ahead of time and is a family favorite!

Don’t toss your pumpkin seeds! Roasted pumpkin seeds make a delicious fall snack. They’re crunchy, salty and so easy to make!

7. Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups via Fit Foodie Finds

8. Rice Crispy Ghost Bars via Fed & Fit

These gluten-free Rice Crispy Ghost Bars are simple and full of better-for-you ingredients. This is a great treat for adults and kids during this fun, silly holiday!

FUN FAMILY ACTIVITIES FOR HALLOWEEN

Whip up some homemade pumpkin pie popsicles for a creamy treat!

Carve pumpkins, of course! These are the best pumpkin carving tools.

Adults: enjoy a pumpkin beverage – these are the best pumpkin beers, in my opinion.

Make a pot of hearty pumpkin chili and share it with the neighbors!

Have a spooky movie marathon complete with popcorn and apple cider.

Visit a local haunted house or corn maze!

FALL HOME DECOR FINDS

I’ve been eyeing some affordable fall decor at Target – neutral pieces with a splash of gold and warm earth tones… just my style!

gold tray / autumn candles /eucalyptus wreath / burlap runner / faux leaves

/ leather pillow covers / gold lanterns / wire pumpkins

HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
