He Made ‘Em –>

Thanks to this guy, I enjoyed slowly waking up in bed to the smell of oatmeal!

IMG_7156Blog

Matt actually got up to go on a run this morning, and when he returned he asked if I wanted breakfast in bed.

YES PLEASE!!

I didn’t end up enjoying my whipped banana oats in bed, but we did enjoy it together. We used to eat breakfast together every morning back in the day. I miss that!

IMG_7157Blog

Whipped banana oats [Matt style, which means no chia and whipped violently] with vanilla, strawberry jam, WF peanut butter and more banana.

IMG_7161Blog

He even heated tea water for me! Earl Gray to sip.

I feel like a queen this week : )

You deserve to feel like a queen and what a prince/king/thoughtful husband you have! The Matt-style oats look delicious, even after being violently whipped and chia-less. Hope the rest of your day is as wonderful as its beginning.

My hubs isn’t a chia fan either. I always try to sneak some in when making oatmeal for both of us but he noticed every single time.

Is jelly really the way to go? I’m all about the peanut/almond butter, but jelly seems like a weird texture to add to oatmeal. Guess I’ll give it a go.

Awww… that’s cool he made you oatmeal and tea this morn. those oats look yummy. think I will go make me some now minus the jam.

I love when my man brings me hot tea. We do that frequently in the evening. As for the massage, I treated him this weekend with a day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Was truly nice as it was 80 degrees out.
