Guessing Game

Due to the fact that I met Matt at the homebrewers meeting last night, I asked him if he would pack my lunch (and photograph it!) for me. Luckily, he’s the best. I think he had a little too much fun with this one!

I’m guessing these are the ingredients for the salad I asked him to pack…

IMG_2165 (640x427)

And this must be the salad!! I’m guessing it’s spinach with carrot, green pepper and shaved cheddar. And some herbs from our garden on top!

IMG_2166 (640x427)

I’m also guessing he added the olive oil and honey dressing I requested, but I guess I won’t know till I start eating!

IMG_2169 (640x427)

IMG_2167 (640x427)

I also requested a PB+J sandwich on the new Apple Nut Bread he brought home from Great Harvest.

Guessing these are the ingredients he used…. also guessing he used the Italian Plum Jam because we’re now out of Crofter’s!

IMG_2156 (640x427)

No guesswork here – that looks like one heck of a sandwich!!

IMG_2154 (640x427)

I’m guessing he gave me the bigger half…

IMG_2160 (640x427)

And ate the small half for a snack!!

IMG_2162 (640x427)

I added this pear at breakfast ’cause I felt I needed one more component.

IMG_2055 (640x427)

I’m guessing this is gonna be a great lunch!!!

***

NOTE: Breakfast this morning DID hold me over really well. But not any more than some of my best oatmeal bowls. And definitely not 200+ calories more worth. But still good that it did!

YOGA this afternoon with Emily!!

Pb&jam sandwiches are the best. They never fill me up unless they also go along with a large salad like yours…perfect! 😀

    And the bread looks awesome…mmm…

I’m curious about this olive oil and honey idea for dressing. i always use store bought dressing, but i might give this a try. it sounds more healthy, i think?

That’s so sweet that you can ask Matt to not only make lunch and photograph it. My lunch would not look nearly as wonderful if Hunni made it. Love him dearly but he would buy me a gift card to panera 😉

Do you mix the honey and olive oil together before adding it to the salad or do you drizzle both on top?

The little snack bowl with the neat-o spoon. They already wrote to me and gave me the ones I got for free. (yippy!) Yours was different because it had the space to cradle the spoon. Mine came with one hump just for your thumb…not a double hump:) Its all good though. Thanks for being so on top of it!

That’s the all-veggie salad I made all the time when I first started Weight Watchers! … Sort of. I’m not a fan of most raw veggies, so I made spinach+bell pepper+shredded carrot salad. I don’t remember putting much cheese in my salads in the beginning, but now I typically put parmesan, mozzarella, or goat cheese. 🙂
