Followed By Fog

I must still be in SF mode, because my head is a fog! Totally forgot I’m going to class today and looked at the clock to see that I’m running late!!

Luckily I still had some of Kelsey‘s soup that I could quickly reheat + eat.

IMG_3917 (640x427)

I spiced it up with some Big Papi sauce!

IMG_3921 (640x427)

Joining the table were some Flax Oat Bran toast cubes

IMG_3923 (640x427)

And a homemade caramel from Foodzie that I picked up on Saturday night. Going to eat this on my way to class 🙂

IMG_3914 (640x427)

IMG_3919 (640x427)

Also following me today: spiders 🙁 I killed a big one on the carpet and stepped onto the patio to see this!

IMG_3924 (640x427)

Getting our Metabolism tests back today!!

After class I’m going to the community garden for 2 hours of work and then running with my friend Lauri! Coming home to an unplanned dinner.

Adios!

That Foodzie website looks so cool…I love the idea of Etsy for food 🙂 And I’m late to the game but I wanted to tell you I liked Matt’s post on Gather…I don’t think my guy would wait for me to snap photos to eat! But he does give me ideas for the blog, so that’s something, right? and he came up with the name 🙂

Leftovers are a busy person’s dream. I had left over chicken sweet potato soup for lunch right before I ran to a meeting. It was divine and just as good if not better than the first time 🙂

    Kath,

Apologies if someone asked this already, but what food photography lessons are you using to learn how to use the Rebel. LOVING your pics from the weekend. I can’t get my background to look that blurry without having my tripod with me and using the manual settings, leaving the shutter open longer (which ends up making the whole pic blurry if I don’t use the tripod). School me woman!

That’s a yellow garden spider. When we moved to NC, we found one had made a web right outside our office window. I had never seen anything like it and was initially terrified. But they are completely harmless so I left it alone. I actually started to enjoy watching it through my window; they are really beautiful as far as spiders go! Don’t forget, they dine on insects, too. IMHO, bugs are nastier than spiders, so my rule is if it’s harmless and it doesn’t come inside, I leave it alone.

    Hey Kath,

I know you love GG but I found another great new show that you might love as much as I do! It’s called Glee and I think it’s on Wednesday nights … there have been 4 episodes so far and I’ve just been watching them on Hulu. Check it out if you get a chance … seems right up your alley.

    shawna,
No, it’s cabbage!!!!!! BUT there were onions in the soup, but they were small.

    Betty,
Yes, we have several of them around the yard. They are pretty and I don’t hurt them so long as they stay outside!

    Amanda,
I’ve heard of Glee! Good to know they are on Hulu. I will check it out when I have a free minute later this week 🙂
