Flap Those Jacks

IMG_3889-2Blog

It was a flapjack kinda morning!

IMG_3890-2Blog

I brought home some leftovers of the Great Harvest Cville  pancake mix and have been waiting for a good morning to make a mess in the kitchen.

IMG_3894-2Blog

I left matt in bed and got to work with some Banana Pecan Pancakes complete with a trio of frosted nut butters, coconut and chia.

IMG_3893-2Blog

Chocolate coconut butter

IMG_3899-2Blog

And Naturally Nutty Vanilla Almond Butter

IMG_3896-2Blog

And of course SUNFLOWER!

Woof

IMG_3892-2Blog

We just finished two episodes of Property Virgins. I’m off to chug water like a camel and am meeting Faith a bit later for a run. An uphill run. Wish me luck!

Tig sez, Happy Sunday, yo!

Looks gorgeous! What a yummy Sunday breakfast. In Ireland flapjacks are cereal/granola bars so I wasn’t expecting pancakes 🙂

    Good luck on your run!

ATTENTION ALL KERF READERS (and Kath too, if you please!)

Sorry for gate crashing this post, but I need your guys’ help! (figured, where else can I find a friendly and food-smart community to ask?)

There’s a fruit tree in my backyard that comes into season every summer and I have NO idea what kind of fruit it is! I’ve yet to see it in any grocery store I’ve been to. They’re about 1 1/2 inches in length with a seed in the middle. If anyone could help me, I’d be eternally grateful!

And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s THREE. 🙂
