Dogs, Buzz + Nerds

Fun fall day ’round here! I’ve enjoyed it, but I haven’t been very productive on the work front!

I met Victoria at her Y at 10:30 for a workout. We ran in the neighborhood for about 20 minutes – neither one of us wanted to go hard or fast so we just jogged and talked (and walked at times too). We wrapped up with about 10 minutes of walking on the track. Then it was time to get sculpted!! I can’t believe how much I enjoy this class now! It’s crowded and hard, but the hour goes by fast and I always leave feeling hard as a rock and shaking in my shoes. My muscles have definitely gotten more sculpted since I started going about a month ago.

Matt brought home some hot dog buns yesterday so I could enjoy another of the organic hot dogs Applegate Farms sent me!

IMG_4661 (640x427)

I had frozen them and they thawed quite nicely (one for Matt too). I did 1/2 a pound’s worth of auto defrost in the microwave to thaw ’em out and then 30 seconds on high. Perfect! Such a fun quick lunch.

On the side – carrot + zucchini

And sabra. Drool.

I love them. Seriously. I’ve been a vegetarian off and on for over ten years now, and the first time I went off, it was because of a hotdog. Ate it at a fair. Delish.
