Concentration

Foodblog-3854

I’ve been busy going to the doctor, the bakery and writing BERF posts! A little progress at the doctor’s office – exciting! Just a little though : )

I almost ate lunch at the bakery, but I wasn’t hungry when I was there so I headed home – and remembered our leftover peppers in the fridge! I heated three up in the microwave with some greek yogurt on top.

Foodblog-3856

Plus a slice of Cville Crunch toast – topped with Kerrygold butter! No detection of that funky taste in this brand – good call guys!

Foodblog-3855

The AC is back on here, as it got really muggy and humid out there! Somehow I am still hot and clammy. Blame the bump!

Foodblog-3852

I brought home a tiny square of cosmic brownie for dessert – chocolate concentration!

Foodblog-3850

Have a happy day!

Ooh that brownie looks good! Just out of interest…do you do many vegan gluten free breads? If I ever get my ass over to the US again it will be first on the list of things to get to try if you do!

We don’t offer anything gluten free. And our breads contain honey, so unfortunately, nothing vegan based on that.

That cosmic brownie looks delicious! I was proud of myself for only eating half of a brownie at a family get together last week 🙂

That brownie looks awesome. When I first read “cosmic brownie”, it reminded me of the Little Debbie brand ones. Ewww! I used to love those things. Gross looking at the ingredients now.

Jordan, that brings back memories! I used to eat the Little Debbie fudge brownies (with walnuts) as an after school snack… yikes!

I LOVE Kerrygold butter! It’s too good tho I always smear just a little too much on everything and it goes too darn fast 😉 Enjoy your Tuesday afternoon!

Love the colors in your lunch/leftovers photos -> looks like fall 🙂 I’m also blaming you for my mid-afternoon freshly baked bread craving (& I’ll probably be thanking you for that later on today)!

That Cville Crunch looks delicious! I finalllly went to a GH for the first time the other day (Naperville, IL location) and bought a loaf of Dakota bread! It is awesome! Dense and doughy but in a good way :). I was bummed that they didn’t make sandwiches or anything like that though. Question for you – do you and Matt normally keep your bread in the fridge or out on the counter/at room temp.?

Dakota is our best seller! Always keep your bread either on your counter or in the freezer – never the fridge, as that promotes mold!

Really?! I always thought leaving it out on the counter made it mold faster. At least that’s what it has always seemed like with my experience! I keep mine in the fridge, but maybe I’ll move it to the counter. Just freeze half the loaf maybe? I know I won’t eat the whole loaf fast enough before it goes bad.

Matt corrected me – it doesn’t necessarily promote mold, but it ruins the texture by redistributing moisture and it won’t taste very good.

Yes, definitely cut the loaf in half and freeze one piece. To thaw, just put it on your countertop.

Being pregnant, the air conditioning in our house is not cold enough for me. We will not turn it down, though, because we do not want our electric bill to be too high.
