Cook Out @ Karen’s

Foodblog-3862

Mondays make fun nights for parties! And I just wrote that thinking it was Monday.

Ahem. Let me start over.

TUESDAYS make great nights for parties!! Middle of the week fun at Karen’s place!

Foodblog-3872

I had a cheese + cracker snack and went to prenatal yoga, and afterwards, walked over to Karen’s.

Foodblog-3860

She invited our bakery employees and a few neighbors and friends for a house warming cookout!

Foodblog-3881

I sipped red zinger tea + seltzer while we waited for the burgers to cook

Foodblog-3863

The party was potluck style and we had a delicious spread of salads, sides, and bread

Foodblog-3878Foodblog-3876Foodblog-3880

The burgers were ready after the sun set, and both No Bull Burgers and Organic Butcher beef burgers were served on Dakota and Cheddar Garlic buns and Whole Foods’ Seaside Smoked Cheddar

Foodblog-3891

Foodblog-3884

I had a mix of delicious sides to go with

Foodblog-3889

And for dessert – Hannah Banana made Hannah Bars – a twist on our bakery’s Savannah bars! They were lemon-blueberry-shortcake and delicious with a little vanilla ice cream.

Foodblog-3892

Matt and I walked home to the tune of 1,000 cicadas and distant thunder. So fun that Karen lives so close now! A fun, fun time.
