Be Cool, B Complex

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Slept well!!! On my back just like Kristien suggested for my stress-filled shoulders/neck.

Of course we celebrated the weekend with a full-out oatmeal buffet!

IMG_4304 (640x427)

Take your pick!

IMG_4308 (640x427)

IMG_4309 (640x427)

Whipped banana oatmeal for 4, made with coconut milk, water, banana, chia seeds, vanilla, salt and raisins.

IMG_4310 (640x427)

My happy guest

IMG_4312 (640x427)

And her toppings!! She loved all the nut butters I had her taste-test 🙂 But the Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter won!

IMG_4316 (640x427)

IMG_4324 (640x427)

My love:

IMG_4319 (640x427)

Topped with Carrot Raisin Walnut muffin teacake (from Great Harvest) plus a drizzle of coconut butter and a blog of CVSB.

IMG_4326 (640x427)

It was INCREDIBLE!!

IMG_4323 (640x427)

Bora Bora coffee mug sportin’ 2 cups: hot Spring Blend and iced mint Caftea. x2 coffee = me shaking in my boots!

IMG_4322 (640x427)

IMG_4321 (640x427)

After an hour of chatting on our patio, Kristien whipped out his natural supplements. I’m very curious!!

IMG_4327 (640x427)

He treated me to a B-vitamin splash: Max Stress B. It smelled like a vitamin pill but didn’t have much taste.

IMG_4329 (640x427)

We’ll see if I feel more energized!

Yeah, good for you for getting a good sleep! Whenever my back injury is playing up badly, I can only ever fall asleep on my back, too… with my right leg bent up so the sole of my foot rests on my left knee. I don’t know why, but that just eases my SI joint for some reason…?

If I ever visit your area, I think your kitchen would be a tourist attraction for me just so I could have some of your whipped banana oats! I make them for myself all the time and they’re delicious, but homemade by you would be like going to the original Starbucks in Seattle! Caitlin is a very lucky girl!

Lol. I got scared about the mustard as well. Glad to hear that it’s not something you normally put in your oats. I could see it going well with savory oats actually, but not in the AM. 🙂 You have quite an impressive selection of nut butters. Epic, I daresay. If only all those speciality nut butters weren’t so expensive!

I’ve emailed you before. I’m a regular reader of your blog.
I have a tiny blog and would love to get more readers. I would NEVER think to ask you for a shout-out, because I think that’s rude. But I know you gave the opportunity last year for bloggers to do guest posts, and so I was wondering if you were going to do that again this year? I love your blog!
