All-Star

I am glued to the house until the FedEx man arrives! He’s been trying to deliver a Black Box of wine from Foodbuzz for ages and always came at 11AM when I was gone (he needs my 21+-year-old signature). So hopefully I’ll have a new box of wine to suck on later today 😉

I’ve also got a classmate coming over at 2PM to work on a YouTube video project for Nutrition Education on caffeine. We’re excited to get it over with!

Breakfast was all-star:

  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin, stirred in at end
  • 2008 [hoarded] TJ’s Pumpkin Butter!!

Funny about the wine. I was in kind of the same predicament last week. My dear husband had my favorite bottle of wine (Next Pinot Noir by Kings Estate) shipped to me for my birthday since it isn’t available in my county in VA. It took days for us to work getting it delivered out. It was a nice surprise when we were finally able to get it though!

    Hey Kath,

Me again. Thanks for your response. Can you please tell me what brand pb and ab you prefer these days then? The HT peanut butter that I thought you liked was the one I thought you sent to the Peanut Butter boy back then 🙂 That is a while back, I know. Anyway, there is no HT near me so about a month ago I was in another state and they had HT and I bought thinking that was a good one and I did not particularly like it.

Anyway.. Just curious. Thank you so much and good luck with everything.. Maybe I will come down and buy some bread from you guys when you open your bakery 🙂

It’s the EarthFare peanut butter that I used to rave about and sent to PBB. I still love it, but I’ve had so many other kinds that I haven’t bought it in ages.

Hey Kath! Thanks for the blog comments…much appreciated!! =) So, the baked pumpkin bars got better overnight! They solidified more and are amazing with a 12sec. zap in the microwave. I’m sure the egg would have helped as well…I made a lot of substitutions with that variation so it’s my own fault they were a little mushy! I will definitely give it another go. Have a great weekend!
