You Say Hello, And I Say Goodbye

May 31, 2011

As expected, things are bumpin’ crazy around here!!

I got a few blocks down the road and thought that my tire was losing air. So I turned around and went back up the hill and drove instead. Didn’t want to get stranded on a busy day!

I sure hope I can get a new tube today!

Lauren from Great Harvest is here helping us and 3 more come in tonight. Suddenly we have a to-do list a mile long and employees making pancake mix + granola in the store too!

At 1PM I was feeling faintish for lunch. Had to find food fast!

Across the street = Cville Coffee’s amazing tofu salad

I just love that there are TWO kinds of beans, plus meaty olives and heafty tofu. This is a nice entrée salad!

I stole a water from myself to drink

And for dessert – a honey bunch!!! Love these!!

Running 3 different errands and then meeting back at the bakery for picture hanging.

Hop to it, honey child!

Lunch looks great. I hope that blogging won’t become too much for you when the bakery opens. It seems like too much for one person to do, but whenever you have time to blog, we readers will be here to read! :)

Mmmm. I went to Cville Coffee for the first time on Saturday after yoga class and had their iced coffee and one of those Carpe Donuts! WOWZA. So excited that next time I stop in McIntire Plaza I’ll be able to get some amazing bread!!!!!!!! =D

That salad looks delicious — I just love olives in salads or alone. Meaty is such a good word for them!

Have a great day!

We really need new tubes for my husband’s tires… He literally carries a huge bike pump in his backpack everywhere he rides. It’s adorable, but also pathetic. Ha. Probably a good move to drive today ;)

picture hanging! you know when the pics are going up on the walls, 99% of the heavy construction and mess-making and mega projects are done. CONGRATS!

and the honey goodie looks delish.

smart move on DRIVING and not risking a flat tire situation. My last comment to you or yesterday was all about my flat tire/stroller tire woes. Flats stink. A project for another day for you though :)

I love when vegetarian salads are considered “entree” salads. Too many places don’t offer these.

The salad looks good, but I have never tried tofu before.

I usually avoid tofu when I come across them on our dinner table, but that one right there looks delectable, it looks absolutely inviting.

I love when an entree salad isn’t gobbed down with unhealthy stuff – so many places need to find that healthy balance between a “side salad” that’s so not filling – and the abominations that sometimes find their way onto menus! That salad looks delicious!

That tofu looks so juicy and delicious- if u hadn’t said what it was, i would have been certain it was a piece of chicken breast.
