What a blast this totally awesome Southern city is. I’m so sad we can’t move here
We arrived at Erica + Josh’s to fine a few snacks on display, including a keg of beer!! (They have a kegerator!) I had a few fruits dipped in yogurt
After getting a tour of their beautiful home, we headed to downtown Charleston
We did a photo shoot on the battery
And then headed to Rooftop for some beerverages
I had a Palmetto Amber (yum!) and a water
To new friends!
We had a 7pm reservation at South End Brewery. We had a nice big booth and sat across from the husbands – how cute were they
They were good sports, taking lots of blog photos!
The table cloth doodling was out of control
Of course we got the beer sampler. I shared this 30%:60% with Matt (with me getting more and him getting a pitcher)
The highlight was the seasonal ginger beer!!!!!!! Like a ginger snap!
For dinner Matt and I shared a vegetable pizza with gouda cheese
x 2.5
And I got a side salad with summer berries
After dinner and lots of laughs (and a round of drinks / waters at a local bar), we headed to the Market Street candy shop for a praline sample!
SUGA!
I couldn’t resist getting one for dessert. Shared this with Tina, but I pretty much ate it all.
We’re back home playing with Frank the Tank the English bulldog and getting sleep.
There are plans to visit the ocean tomorrow!!!!!!! LOVE the beach!

oooo that pizza looks divine! I only like pizza with crazy toppings. No mozzarella and pepperoni for this girl. I will have to check that out the next time I’m in Charleston.

Hi Kath,
I live in Boston and was running this morning in Cambridge and saw a girl who looked familiar – it was your sister and she looked familiar from the blog!
I didn’t place her until I passed them so I didn’t say Hi but I’ll introduce myself at the Summit.
Enjoy the weekend!

Was there a reason you can’t move to Charleston? Is there already a Great Harvest there? Boo.

How are those flattened bananas??
Looks like you had an incredible weekend. Charleston is so enchanting. And so are those sandwiches you made! That was so sweet and thoughtful of you.
That looks like such a fun nigth Kath!
I love the picture of the husbands with the cameras. HAHA. That cracked me up.
Loved that restaurant too – anywhere that lets you draw on the table cloth is A-OK in my book
