Retire

November 11, 2009

I’m home early and retiring for the evening!

Eats were good. All eaten as planned ;)

The Pure Power bar was like a healthier version of a Snickers bar turned inside out with peanuts and chocolate. Not sure I’d want it as a morning snack, but as an evening post-dinner one, it was great.

I’ll leave you with some more photos of those crazy bears!

Those bears are trouble! And smart. To use the keyboard as stair sled brilliant really. I like the sound of that bar! I’m about to retire for the evening too.

Windows 7 is far far far better than Vista.

I would recommend turning Hibernate off. I always turn it off on any pc that I touch for a client.

Hi Kath! This is my first time posting, but I have been following your blog for about half a year now-I tell everyone about it! I just wanted to tell you that I’ve noticed as I read your blogs that my food eating patterns started to naturally change as I started trying out some of your recipes! I definitely eat healthier now (yes I am now an oatmeal convert) and noticed that there aren’t as many up and downs in my hunger which usually led to eating horribly when starved. Anyways, whether you realize it or not, you are making an impact at least on my health! Thanks and keep up the great work! (tell the husband thanks too :)

Kath,
First of all those bear pictures are hilarious and soo cute! Your food looked great today and I love watching how you eat after you come back from a big foodie weekend like you just had in CA. I notice that you like to plan and eat your meals exactly how you plan them. However, you dont try to deprive yourself or eat unusually healthy because you ate a lot during a prior weekend. I really respect that and it shows how balanced you strive to be. Keep it up!

Jamie

Those bears have some crazy computer plans. Are they hackers?

Also, the idea of a Snickers bar turned out nearly made me drool all over my keyboard. And you say this is a nourishing bar on top of it all? Outstanding.
